When I got my first rc plane way back in 94, an older guy that came to the field had a senior telemaster. This particular rc field was located lakeside, some days there was a decent amount of wind blowing straight down the runway. Anyway, the telemaster guy would hang that big beautiful bird on the wind and hover it for as long as he wanted basically. It always amazed me to see a balsa plane that big just hover seemingly effortless for so long.
Tail Heavy has become my supplement for Saturday morning cartoons and I love it 🙌 Merry Christmas you beautiful humans

Yeah our field floods in a similar way each year, those dam skippers/Polaris things are a complete PoS to get going, but once they do they’re heck of a ton of fun.

Not being able to disable SAFE is very frustrating. Try setting the digital switch limits out farther. Or assigning 2 flight modes instead of 3, or 3 instead of 2.

I absolutely love this channel lol, I just found it a few days ago while returning to the hobby after a several year break. The fun you guys have as a group together with this hobby is awesome. I can only imagine the hilarious s*** that happens around you guys, that isn't TH-cam friendly lol.
-- Yes, sales pitch for 8ft Telemaster was: "Balsa overcast of the sky!", its totally needs at least 6" "tars" light foam from Du-Bro or Dave Brown Product line(I'm not affiliated with neither company), perhaps 3D print some pimped up Rimssssss. I'm also digging color matching tools to Telemaster colors - like Dewalt drill, with same matching colors drill holder... If you going to do it, it have to be in style, or why even bother doing it at all? Also whether aged FlexxInnovation Cessna 170 on back ground of the Tick looks pretty realistic, and so is March page of the calendar with FMS Su-27 performing Cobra maneuver. Pretty cool video, as always. keep 'em coming, thank you! And Merry Christmas!

Nice video as always!! (beside that AI video xD )... Super flights and insides. Cool you picking up the telemaster in your 1:1 plane without RC :) The Avanti S made me feel sorry. The dragonfly (?) was cool :) Las weekend I had my first floats-flight on ice. Super cool. But EPO don´t work so good as icebreaker, it scratches pretty fast with thin ice layers :P Pre flight checks were over estimated for the Thick? xD The Bushmaster was cool! A time ago I was thinking of getting one instead of my Draco and some 3D planes. And for the End, I´m allready missing the old Tail Heavy Logo! But it´s probably just getting used to... Nice merch! I hope some goes to Europe also :) Happy holidays or Chrislers
Didn't know it, but the the nose strut on the Avanti was loose. Results were an unexpected veering far off the runway which also resulted in some laughter.
Thankfully, only damage was to the nose cone. It's now tightened back up so it can steer effectively.
