It would be great to put the new APUs vs the 5600g in combo with the most "popular" graphics for example the 2070 super, 1660 super 3060 etc.
why intel is not working on its integrated graphics
I was thinking of getting the ryzen 7 8700G. I am thinking of skipping the GPU now. Can it beat an entry level GPU like RTX 3060?
No, 3060 will be ~3 times faster. 8700G can only match 1650
the lineup after these will probably be GTX 1650 Super / RX 580 level and the one after will probably be RTX 3050 - 3060 and RX 5600 XT / RX 6600
which is pretty crazy to think about
@@LuckyFullmetal Nope
I think this was same with gtx1650
Is the resizable bar enabled or not?
If it's enabled Will help get more fps.
but how you play same in mw2 with three PCs?
There's benchmark mode.
hey man thank you very much!!!! I woukd humbky ask you to compare the rx 580 2048sp vs the 8600g igpu... I want to know if it is best to buy an am4 setup with rx 580 2048sp or to go to 8600g(I know that at least alan wake 2 run on 8600g and it does not run on rx 580 2048sp) ...ah, and if possible add starfield to the list of games...
RX 580 is better than 8600G , so better buy an AM4 setup with RX 580. You still can play Alan Wake 2 with RX 580, you just need to put vulkan files and then you can play at 720p / 25-40 fps.
A used rx 5700 is $130 on ebay in america including the shipping. An RX 580 is $99 new. You can get a budget cpu to pair with the rx 5700 and that would be the price of the 8600g.
$100 cpu plus $130 used rx 5700. If you go used on the cpu, you can add more money to the gpu portion and get something good for that $230 price. But you have no upgrade path.
@@ericreid8111 I live in brazil man, everything bought outside the country has an enourmous amount of taxes making it truly expensive...and buying here is also expensive...the rx 580 is the only gpu afforable per say...
@@carlosmagnomacieira8210 the 580 is a very respectable device. It will play everything just fine 1080p or 720p.
Personally, 720p did us fine for so long. Ive played on 720p until like 2020
Idk why but the 8600G iGPU performs on par with my 6700 XT OC, what am I doing wrong??
8500g seems like a good deal if it's $150 someday

отличный тест. Спасибо, друг.
i have a problem in my cpu temp it reach 87c° and is too hot what i should do ? i have cooler snowman m105
Did you set cpu fan to full speed in bios? Did you remove sticker from cpu cooler where was for cpu place?
Is thermal paste replaced?
@@ChristoGevedjov yes i remove the sticker and i replaced the thermal paste and i didn't set fan to full speed in bios
@@mazenbenzohra-zf1gn Try change fan to full speed in bios, this can help to get lower temp.
What graphics should we pair with 8600g if we want to upgrade
RX6600 max pcix8
7:50 bgm?
So 8600g needs about 140 watts for gaming
There is something wrong with 8500G CPU clock speed, it keeps hitting 3700MHz instead of 5000, which is the proper turbo limit
I guess problem is from bios or CPU can do only this when is with iGPU. I guess if I put GPU and disable APU in settings, then cpu speed can hit +4ghz or maximum 5ghz speed same as 8700G and 8600G..
@oGevedjov i just hope that AMD is not pulling some bullschnitzel, to pretend less watt usage or avoid competing with 8600g. Or another possibility - what if program shows only 4 c-cores, that have turbo on 3700Mhz.Coz 5000 is meant for 2 full cores.
You can add dedicated gpu with 5600g too
Thanks for your work
Man ... R5 8600g is a great cpu but, why they locked pcie only just x8😢
That was the bad of AMD, this procie was difficult pair with other GPU
@@Mariadi-X Its ok in real life, the 8500G is bad with only x4!
Really sad that even on these monolithic chips the idle power draw cannot compare with Intel's. For everything else, they're bonkers.
going above 80w 😶
alguien sabe por que lo prueban con la vram del igpu en stock y no lo ponen en 2gb??
The 8500G is very capable at that price, but it's still too close to the 8600G where I live to make it worth the savings over lost performance
Bro i was hesitating on choosing the R5 8600G for my first every build, and i have a small budget (i mean it alr actually like 450€) and I’m planning to not buy a gpu to get to this budget, thank you know you showed me the games that i wanted to play they work perfectly fine for me
Btw do you lose fps while recording ??
why 8500g has so low mhz? where is 5ghz or at least 4?
lol, did anyone realise that he had Ray Tracing on when benchmarking FH5. Damn these are good.
Thats actually crazy for a sub 200$ APU. Seems like AM5 is really picking up on the low budget performance.
How about ryzen 5 8600g with FSR technology ?
honestly i dont see the point of buying these apus for gaming without external gpu bcoz even without gpu the new apu based pc will cost as near as PS5 or at least xbox series S in that matter
8600G is a worthy successor to the 5600G. If it had the 780M it would've been perfect.
Someone mentioned in the last video that these AMD apus are not good for prolonged gaming, that the performance drops off considerably--is that true? Can you play games on these apus for as long as you would on a system with a gpu?
They're good APUs, problem is prices are a bit too high for these cpus with APUs. I'm sure after 3-5 months prices of these cpus will drop a lot like 40-80$ down. (same happened with 5600g and 5700 were so expensive on release day 5600g was like 270$ and 5700G 370$)
Will definitely buy the 8600G once the first or second price drops occurs, probably by Black Friday of this year. The 760M isn't that much behind the 780M honestly now that I've seen some benchmarks of yours and others. Thanks for the uploads and looking forward to more!
@@b.shes.2643 I forgot to add one: About performance drops off, this is new bug. I'm sure they will release new update someday which will fix drop fps/performance. Previous video which i made 8500g vs 8600g vs 8700g, Only on 8700G power was less than 70W which was bug and gave a bit less fps only on three games Assassin creed Mirage,Starfield and RDR2... When i re-installed driver and restarted the pc, power on 8700g went back to 77-87W and gave +5 fps more on AC Mirage,Starfield and RDR2 than bug cut power.
On 8500G and 8600G have no bug about this, so nothing to worry about it.
@@ChristoGevedjovI think it's the STAMP that gamernexus mentioned. It's used in handhelds to reduce the high temps but it's unnecessary for desktop. Amd said that they'll release a bios update soon
i would get the 8500g for my htpc if they price it lower
If u can please oc the 8500g and 8600g?
i dont think its worth the upgrade from 5xxxG 8xxxG bc of the cpu itself, is 10-20% fastest, meanwhile the gpu its the more advance upgrade here. imo is best if u have a 5xxxG gen to buy a discrete gpu like a rx6600xt o 6700 an be for the same price even better
So 740M a bit slower than GTX 1050 ?
760M a bit faster than GTX 1050 ?
760M is like GTX 1630 or a bit slower.
740M I think it's faster than GTX 1050 if ram is much faster.
Hi guys, which one is better; 5500X + GTX 1660 VS 8600G Igp GPU for gaming?
Thanks
5500X + GTX 1660 is much better!
Cool u try these on like Fortnite , Valorant and csgo 2
I play valorant on athlon 200GE and its good. All the APU above will run valorant smoothly even on highest settings.
Imagine after 3 years of new iGPU series can go up to 100fps
why lock CPU clock 8500G at 3700MHZ ????
Hogwart legacy and alan wake 2 were the heavy game for CPU and GPU
8500g is almost the same price as 5600g, and it's clearly outperforming the heck out of 5600g. So, I'm kinda confused, as to why 5600g is more popular? Is there some benefit in buying 5600g over 8500g?
Theres a big price gap when it comes to different countries here its $65
@@rami6044 I'm getting it for max $10 difference, but I heard some people saying that buying 5600g would be better (specially if you gonna get a graphics card in the future) they did not explain tho, made me even more confused.
@@Mambo-Italiano 8500g is obviously better cause it comes with am5 socket its better for future upgrades aswell its only about the price
@@rami6044 🙏🙏
R5 5600G VEGA 7 Why can't run Alan walk 2 .only 3-5 fps😅
Because 5600G doesn't support Mesh Shaders.
The bad thing is that Ryzen 5 8600G does use 1.5-2x more power than Ryzen 5 5600G which 2x power = 2x fps
Running it below 60 °c is more impressive than the performance tbh
Ttally
Radeon 7xxM is better than my RX 470, dayum!
The 5600g costs $110 here while the 8500g and 8600g costs $250 and $300 respectively, and with the price of a520m being $60 vs a620m being $120 yeah, a big nope
Aqui o 5600g custa R$800 (metade de um salário mínimo)
Now let's wait R5 5600g vs 5600gt vs 5500g 😊
Tengo la 8500G y es raro porque no corre a esos fps, corre peor o igual a la 5600g
The VRAM wasn’t OC
better to go with 8600g cheaper and almost same as 8700g and even with 1080 is good gives u enough time to grap some money to get a good mid-high gpu like 4060 to 4080 or 7600xt to 7800xt
Ryzen 8600 G for the win baby it is better then 8700 cause it's 100$cheap and its way better then 8500 cause it's 40$ costly for 50% better performance
Oh man...u r just amazing
Woah…50 to 100% leap in performance from 8500g and 8600g
Can't believe that 8600G when we look at the cinebench score is not that far away from 5600G, 8500G is just like 5600X. Stupid
Given this data, the R5 8500G iGPU would probably be even slightly faster than the R7 5700G iGPU.
Its more than slightly! There is another you tube video making this comparison.
the igpu power consumption of 8600g is insanely high as the processor, more power hungry than gtx 1650..
Im curious about ryzen 5 5600gt
It only has higher clock speed so performance will not be that high with 5600g.
i think in the next 10 years there will be no need for graphic cards
Plz do 8600g and 8700g vs 7600 with dedicated gpu
7500f with dedicated GPU RX 6500 XT was more cheaper than 8700G
I need that Zen 5 APU on desktop AMD. I need more power efficient APU
thanks. I guess the 8600g is worth it if you have no plans to get a discrete GPU. otherwise, the 5600g is the best value due to low price of CPU, mobo, DDR4
ryzen 5 5600g is the buget gaming for us that can afford playable but not on hard AAA games
the diference between 5600g to 8500G its 10 fps....not worth. 8600G is 15 fps better....this prices its not good and the best thing to do is wait 8700G get low prices.
*So the 8600 is the next big budget Ryzen CPU. RIP 5600G.*
only 8700g worth buying then, sadly 5700x is alot cheaper you prob can even buy 6700xt
uh well urm, this type of system called soc, system on chip, so 'chipset' isnt wrong
So the weakest apu from 8000G series can beat the best of last Gen 5700G, great!!
all test on 500mb vram, you not alocate 4 or 8 gb ram
Increasing vram won't boost fps, only will fix stutters/potato graphics on some games.
I prefer to let auto/default, because not everybody can increase vram size.
These types of processors will come to handheld PCs.
