@@MattyDCCollins I've been cautious since day 1, but only because I saw all the videos before buying. I live in the UK so it's either windy or raining.... Add water to that and I'm snookered.
The second thing about losing altitude is, flying in your own "prop wash", which makes the drone waver, even though there's no wind. The Minis have a 3 axis gimbal, which dampens this affect.
Sometimes, professional film makers don't do the best drone reviews for "normal" people. You allude to this: The Nano is perfect for bloggers/tiktok/youtubers or folks on vacation who don't need cinematic photography. It is a good entry that can be upgraded with controllers and goggles and then later, a better camera drone for image quality. You make me think I should start a channel for "average joes." Non-monetized reviews for "normal" people. Thanks!
@@MattyDCCollins I have an Autel Nano+ when I need better images. Like most casual users who are using it for vacations, family and supporting their actual hobbies, I am staying under 250g to avoid the hassle of licensing, etc. I am looking forward to the Flip which is the next logical step up from the Neo @ 250g. It is sure to have a better camera. Maybe replace my Nano. The Nano is so durable, it can be used in more hazardous places in FPV mode. Folks take it through dense woods and forests where people can walk. It is less hazardous that drones without enclosed props. th-cam.com/video/mocpenDB940/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_alnDCLAZ65Enn25
dude, when flying the DJI Neo without the Controller, do not fly it over clear water, the reflection of water make it like it was above Hight ground witht the sensor not detecting it and the wind blew it away not the drone was moving itself. Without GPS and Ground Sensor your drone is prone to Drift Away.
DJI Neo was like. Nah fuck it 😂 I am sorry, that you lost it. Isn't there function to find my drone in the app? Like for the video and crashing Neo to the wall :D
@@MattyDCCollins oooh so it was working after, but little DJI decided to die in peace in the forest. Thank you for the reply I do appreciate it and also great videos! You deserve more subs
Every fly away story I've watched starts with water.... Which is why DJI clearly state to not fly over water.
True, I bought it the first day it came out and just assumed it would work like all the other DJI drones I own but nope hahah

It goes vertigo if it loses the grounding: no flying over water, unless you have 20+ satelite signal.
hahah yupp, learned the hard way

hahah yupp, learned the hard way, good to know about the prop wash
How do you do the voice over?
If you go to Motion Array's website there is a bunch of different options to choose from and you just type in what you want it to say :)
