    I am curious how you program the 5-axis machine. I have Aspire software and have put together a 4-Axis machine... I understand the A-Axis along the X, or B-Axis along the Y... but really interested in how you go about converting a 3D STL or similar model into the 5-Axis G-Code.

    How much did something like this cost? Do you have plans that you can share or sell?

    Amazing machine! Great work here. I saw lots of people ask about plans. I would also like that information. But maybe if you have the machine and I need to mill large foam blocks you can do it for a fee? I'm looking to make fiberglass molds, or even fiberglass parts. Don't know whether it would be worth shipping from Poland if you are interested. Let me know! Thanks!

    Title says homemade or of your design. But not a single question is answered, and your link goes direct to foreign language boat and nothing to do with the machine that I can see. Would enjoy more details..

    • @rambus27
      @rambus27  8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +Scott Weinberg
      Exactly.
      Homemade since it was built in home conditions, without special tools, even turning it was not available.
      Foreign language, because I live in Poland.
      Website in the description is the web site of my company, if you look more deeply you would see that there is also the milling machine:
      www.hypeboat.com/?id=galeria_cnc_big&lang=pl

    • @scottweinberg3268
      @scottweinberg3268 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +rambus27 Yes, I see that Poland is the base for your company. I was asking like many others, if you were providing plans for this machine and more details or if it was just to show what your company is using/doing for the hypeboat work. If this video posting was for providing more details, I would love to know more. If this was just about your company and the work it does, that is fine to. Distance in that regards would prove to much. Thanks again.

      Now I understand :)
      Plans machines I unfortunately do not release to the public.
      If someone is determined to build his own machine, we can talk to (e-mail), so I gave contact us (website, facebook) - there you will see what we do on the CNC.
      How do you see the movie is published a very long time, so comments also a long time I did not check.

    • @scottweinberg3268
      @scottweinberg3268 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +rambus27 Ok, that is all I needed to know, as for time, the thing will hang around TH-cam for a long time, and I suspect this should stop all others from asking for plans as you have now clearly stated that they are not available. Good design it looks like.

    to do hard materials, it would have to be really really rigid, and probably much more expensive. It's very cool for what it does though.
