Great video. My clockspring just failed. Clock springs on VW vehicles have been recalled on several models and VW is being investigated for other years/ models. If they won’t fix it, I’m confident I can thanks to your video. Cheers.
Thank you for the fantastic tutorial, I would try to change it but people from VW Service told me that it is necessary an ECU programmig after installation. Is it true? Thanks
@@tommasofinizio3992 Yes, you have to programme the piece that you replace it (you can use. VCDS / VAGCOM diagnostic tool), otherwise the malfunction will be the same.
@@samjhoseph8089 I have the same question. The people from VW Service told me that it is necessary an ECU programming because the new component need to be recognized by the car system.

Hello my friend, I changed the Countach key and when I tried to start it, the airbag was not in place. When I put everything back together and restarted, the confusion light appeared in yellow and did not turn off. What is the solution to turn it off?

What the difference between clock spring with sensor and without sensor?
What sensor is this ?
@@samjhoseph8089 I think that the ones without sensors are on steering wheels with no buttons on it.
