Walking along Newport Beach in Orange County, California 【4K】

- Newport Beach, a coastal city in southern California, is known for its large, boat-filled harbor. Balboa Peninsula has 2 piers, Newport Beach Pier and Balboa Pier, plus the Balboa Fun Zone, an old-school amusement park with a Ferris wheel and ocean views.
The city is famous for its lavish lifestyle and beautiful surroundings. It is nestled on the Pacific Ocean and is a favorite amongst surfers. The Wedge, at the end of the Balboa Peninsula, is famed for its challenging surf, but Newport's miles of wide beaches offer plenty of room for everyone, except on the busiest summer weekends. There is a concrete boardwalk running along the beach from the east of the Balboa pier to west of the Newport pier.

Newport is wonderful! I was born and raised in NB, went to that elementary school on the beach too! I used to ride my Big Wheel by the pier and we lived on the oceanfront at 35th street. Heaven on earth!

Newport beach looks like paradise
Passed by my late uncle's house on 16th St and West Ocean Front.. what a beautiful garden and location he had.. estate sold the house. Great place for full time and part time living..$$$ makes it happen!! Great video...

Used to live 20min away in Irvine. Newport Beach is one of my favorite beaches in OC
How is actually life in the OC? Is it kind of boring or do you also have some sort of going out possibilities for young people?

Ooooh Newport Beach! My beach in my child hood, adult hood. I sure miss it. I haven't been there in 20 years. I'm heading over there this summer! This video brings back a lot of memories!
I move from Oxnard to Newport Beach this is a great area it's better than my old area I used to live in I love people walking and relaxing in the beach and the strand.

I think I fell in love, 1 DVD at a time, with Newport Beach from the OC, laugh!
BUT, Orange County, Newport Beach specifically in person, is even BETTER. Not only is it a wonderful place to visit and stay in itself but additionally, Newport is located centrally, when travelling through Southern California by say, car. An example, Newport is located between San Diego to the south and Santa Monica a bit more to the north, Newport Beach is a superb place to visit and stay at during your holiday.
What a great beach ! - It goes on forever ~Just bought two tees - One Venice beach we've all heard of venice & the other was Balboa Beach - The Balboa beach club 89 - So thats why I'm here - It would be great to live in one of those flats next to the beach - when Ive watched where were going I going to google map the area !

If you want to see a beautifil beach, look up crystal cove over here in laguna beach. It's 10x better than newport

Crazy to stand and stare at the pacific ocean which just goes on for thousands of miles.
I went to college in Costa Mesa 1989. Newport-Most beautiful beach ever. Just got back from a visit after so many years. The 2020 July 4th storm stole all the soft sand. Its like asphalt now. And trash like you wouldn't believe. I almost cried.

So excellent - Thanks a lot. Plenty of memories. I moved from Wash, D.C to NB, for a new job ---- quite a few years ago. Stayed 2 years and then on to San Diego for a teaching job. SoCal was paradise "back then", comparatively... Keep up your great work -- much appreciated :)

WOW ! Beautiful walking video. It looks like a Disney-like " beach front" up-scale community. I am guessing you have to be a millionaire to own a home there or rent a condo. I always wished and longed for a video showing the beaches and people of California - "you have done it my friend." Please do Malibu, others, and surfing beaches too. Congrats from the mid-west ! Cheers or "Cow-a-bunga" surfer dude ! ! !
Living in the actually city of Newport isn't exclusive, however my sister recently moved there and had her insurances hike up the rates....literally the "you live in Newport" tax.

True..my uncle was rich..he and family lived there full time ..i used to visit and stay at the beachfront house. fond memories, long ago and far away. $$$ makes it happen.

@@lindsaywilliams3774 There are surprisingly cheap places on the peninsula, typically they are small and come with NO parking. That's what makes them cheap. And you can always live with the Mexicans in Costa Mesa too. It's really not bad.
