- Heisler Park in Laguna Beach offers incredible scenic views of Southern California coastal beaches. The trail, about a mile long, provides access to several beaches including Diver's Cove, Rockpile Beach, Picnic Beach, and Main Beach.
Laguna Beach is a coastal city located in southern Orange County, California USA. It’s known for its many art museums, galleries and communities, scenic coves and beautiful beaches.
The iconic Main Beach is located in the heart of downtown. It is where you can find the historic 1929 lifeguard tower. The beachfront park features volleyball and basketball courts, tide pools and a boardwalk leading to the paths and gardens of nearby Heisler Park.

I'm fully aware that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I've always found it interesting that southern California beaches are more eye appealing and swimmer friendly than the beaches up the coast in northern California. The beaches and specifically the quality of waves get better and better the farther south a person goes along the California coast and down into Mexico.

Yes, the further south you go on the California coast the better the waves and the water temperature is warmer. Northern California has a different kind of beauty.
I personally prefer NorCal because of the forests. The only downside is it’s colder but the coastal redwoods are so majestic
Laguna Beach was always my favorite beach when I lived in the Inland Empire. I would go often to meet my friend who lived in Dana Point. So beautiful. I miss it so much.
I love the garden and Cliffside to the beach so pretty. The blue water and the Palm trees are amazing.

I was lucky enough to have lived in Orange County for many years in Newport Beach etc. Laguna Beach is a beautiful little city that i visited many times. We used to love going to the Pottery Shack years ago. I still live nearby & need to visit again sometime.

Northern California has some absolutely beautiful beaches as well. We went up through the Avenue of the Giants and stopped in Eureka. We went up to Oregon from there. Trinidad beach is just beautiful.
