I have to say, Hualien (花蓮) is absolutely majestic, besides Sun Moon Lake (日月潭). 💖🌟 The huge mountains, clear ocean with peaceful nature, it indeed looks like a paradise in California or Santa Monica.
I loved seeing so much of Taiwan’s landscapes and I especially enjoyed seeing all of the local cuisine! 🍚Always look forward to your adventures! And.. the Hope content at the end was the best!🥰😆🐈💜💙💜

It's so wonderful to plunge into the lake, and enjoy SUP paddling. To have these chances to embrace and wander in mountains, lakes, trails, shorelines, cliffs are definitely precious. Especially eating those gourmet local cuisine, physically and mentally are well balanced by this amazing trip.
Will definitely skip Taipei and spend all my days in Hualien on my next visit to Taiwan. Super laidback and chill. Cant wait to travel again. Beautiful content, as always. Love love from the Philippines 😘
Taipei is still cool to visit but as I think you know there is so much more to Taiwan than Taipei 👏🏻 One day when everything is safe I cannot wait to go back to the Philippines !!
I was thinking it might actually be more difficult for you to do SUP than someone who didn't have so much experience paddling in a conventional way, in a normal kayak/canoe. Perhaps a situation where muscle memory could be working against you. It seems like no matter what direction you look, there's always a gorgeous view just waiting for you in Hualien! I'm really looking forward to your upcoming "loop" trip, but it's going to be difficult to top this journey!
I think because I paddled on the right side growing up it def limits my SUP paddle stroke because many people switch side when paddling but.. I stay on the right for the most part. I just J stroke and draw stroke to help me steer

Oh cool! I didn’t know that. Online in English is said there used to be many carps there in the lake which is the information I shared. I wish I knew the information you said because it’s cooler lol 😂👌🏻
@@LayersOfJenn Yushan, Jade Mountain, is the tallest mtn of Taiwan, just shy of 13,000 ft or 4,000 m. It is also the sacred mountain to two of Taiwan's indigenous tribes. To make the top 100 of the world's tallest mountains, you'd have to be at least 7,200 tall. I have never climbed it but I heard you need to be trained for it due to possible altitude sickness. From my own personal experience, like when I visited Yosemite, I was like "whoa, majestic". You are like in awe of its beauty. Taiwan's mountains, in my opinion, don't strike you like that. Instead, it's as if you are whisked away to a fairyland or something. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Don't mean nothing. Hehuan is the tallest mountain accessible by cars, I believe. If you do decide to go explore Taiwan's mountains, please be well prepared as the weather changes rapidly in Taiwan's mountains. Sudden rains and strong gusts are common. Many ill-prepared hikers have succumbed to hypothermia b/c of this and needed to be rescued. Worse, some have passed away including several renowned veteran hikers. Many of the more treacherous ones require registration with npm.cpami.gov.tw/en/index.aspx I would never make fun of anyone's appearance. 😃

It’s the rule in Taiwan to wear masks while being outside and doing water sports. You can be fined up to $15,000 NTD if you are not following the proper protocols put in by the government.

還有一個慕谷慕魚 上次要去 結果那好像封路 不能進去
清水斷崖的sup好像比較超值一點，查到最便宜的價格是1200，可以看海天一線的風景‘另一邊則是清水斷崖（參加日出團似乎更好）
下次妳就要往台東去了，我覺得台東的海岸線更美，尤其是多良車站、金崙那
