OH, the handsome, bearded, tattooed man makes everything look soooo easy. LOL. I lost every long finger nail I had. I cried once. After watching the video several times, I realized that he doesn't actually show the parts that are so hard. Eventually, though, I won.

Just installed on '22 Tacoma w/electric seat. They work fine. I would highly recommend these covers! I'll see how they hold up. I Uber this truck so I'll get hundreds of passengers to test these out! I've had drunk passengers blow chunks but so far they got out first but I'm ready for them now!😂

Impossible to hook the driver's side hooks to anything. I almost had to have a blood transfusion after trying unseccessfully to get my hand underneath the seat!
To get the hooks across the bottom of the seat, try pushing the seat all the way back, pushing them under, then moving the seat all the way forward
Doesnt go into detail what the mini hooks were for..just says attach to gridwork..

Maybe a more detailed demonstration of the front seats without taking it out would help. This demonstration helped me with nothing. Still trying to figure it out without taking out both seats
Too bad the 2024 covers don’t have the retention piece on the front seats. They come with 3 fastek clips you have to slide between the bottom of the seat back and somehow magically dig them out to fasten to 3 straps on the front of the seat cover. With all the wires and about an inch of space to fit your hand under the seat, it is extremely frustrating! I wouldn’t do it again.
I was really hoping I was missing something on my 2024...apparently not. I can't figure out how to get the straps between the backrest and set itself , then down behind the seat itself. It's literally impossible...
The back passenger would be that easy if your seat belt didn’t go through a loop that’s stitched to the bottom of the factory back rest. Do you have a solution for this? I don’t want to take out the seat belt bolt so the only other option is cutting the factory retaining strap…
Just unbolt the seatbelt. What are you scared of?
Second that, why didn't they just design this with Velcro too. I cut the cover, it's just neoprene. I'm not touching the bolt that holds my kid in place and can't find the torque spec for it anyways.
Are you still able to use heated seats, will the heat be felt with these covers?

I have a 2018 Tacoma SR5 with the non-electric driver's seat. Can an alternate video be made or this one amended to include that? Our seat cover bottom seems to keep coming undone. On the other hand, the rest of the seat covers fit perfect!
Works alittle different with manual adjusting seats but I made It work. The head rest on my 2023 Tacoma doesn't fit all the way but it's tucked as if it was strapped
I tied some fishing line to the ends of the seat straps, & it made it a lot easier to fish those straps under the seats & connect them.
What the hells is a grid work? side straps kind of critical. attach to each other? just flew by that one...
I have a ‘23 Tacoma SR access cab and the head rest covers don’t seem to fit, they bottom won’t tuck under where the velcro is and on the seat covers themselves, there’s a pouch on the side of them probably for the airbags, but the airbags don’t stick that far out so the flap just hangs loose. Any tips are appreciated.

Do the seat covers affect the way the heat warmers work?
On a 23’ 4Runner with second row which doesn’t flip up (rear backrest flips down on them) will the seat cover install still be possible?
Love these covers! It was a workout putting them on, and no way I was getting the hooks together under my electric driver's seat. This video was super helpful though.
How did you get the hooks? He makes it seem like it’s simple. Should have gone into detail both seats have so much wiring under them for the airbags and electric seats it’s a fricken maze. What did you do?
You don’t hook them together. You hook the strap to the springs of the seat. Or as he calls it “grid work”.
Can I use these on the Gen 2 model?
"A ten minute job" they said! Three hours later, and having to take out both my seats, the covers are in, and look/fit/work great! NOTE: I'm a perfectionist and wanted to make sure I could secure the hooks right where I wanted them. I couldn't do this with my big bear sized hands, without taking out the seats. Most likely not needed, but....
Your disclaimer states "not designed for models with electric seats", but i see in your installation video you have an electric front drivers side seat and the hole for the manual seat adjustment is seen above the trim. Just wondering if you can confirm that's the case, and if it does not matter if you have manual or electric seats, and you just have to ignore that cutout for the manual knob adjustment.
Yea you can still use them. The hole will still be there but the hooks underneath the seat will be hard to attach to each other. But I got these seat cover on my 23 trd sport.

@@Chuy415_ I only had them for a month but they hold up like new. They do slide out the driver seat a lil bit because it's hard to hook it under the seats but I still don't regret it. Nobody ever notice it's a seat cover.

Wouldn't it be easier just to take the front two seats out? 4 bolts and one connection. I'm asking not to be smart.
