  • Hey guys, if you like these teacher videos, please subscribe or shoot me a message! I'll keep putting up more like this.
Our members call them buns of steel, butt lifters, or Pilates booty, but I'd NEVER use those terms.....these are precision Glute sculptors of the finest quality!
Single-leg "foot in strap" is a great way to get past the gluteus maximus and target the glute medius, glute minimus, and those "Deep 6" hip rotators. These progressions put an insanely real challenge to Pilates' classic side leg series.
If you don't have a reformer, you can do the same moves, side-lying with a long exercise band or Thera-band, and just hold it to the mat in front of you. Almost the same thing!
Blue or Red Spring: 7 moves
    Up-Downs
    Leg Circles
    Front Kick
    Leg Press
    High kick
    High pull
    Bicycle in Air

@@matthew_ryan_pilates Greetings, so happy I found your channel. I am investing in a professional reformer this month. I was training for my first bikini fitness competition, when I suddenly injured myself in multiple areas, injury happened while maneuvering my son in his carseat and squatting. Now 9 months into physical therapy and very discourage by pain., and multiple MRI testing I'm seen another doctor for my low back after taking care my shoulder right and right hip, it looks like this movement is perfect for someone with low back problems and hip?

Do you use the allegro stretch reformer or is that the allegro standard reformer I am 6’2 and wondering which one to buy

Hey Dean! 6'2'' is fine for both regular allegro and stretch. I would say buy a stretch if you find a great deal on one. Otherwise buy the allegro 1. I think the stretch is only necessary when the user is taller than 6'4''

Sure thing! I go through waves of TH-cam ideas, so some reformer teaching ones will come back around. I was thinking to shoot a Glute + Ham connection video next.

    How many springs?

Hello! I like relaxing in this move so Red spring only is good for me :) A lot of members like Red+Yellow, or Red+Blue is super challenging on the pelvic stability!
