This blokes got it good. A great caravan, an awesome Chevy truck, a hot missus, and a coffee machine. What next, cold beer in the fridge??? Oh, good informative video 👍
Hey guys, an off grid setup can range hugely depending on battery sizes, solar panels and the appliances you want to run. Feel free to give our team a call on 1800 787 278 and they can provide you with a quote!
The setup seems a bit too small .I run all 240 volts in my van fridge, freezer, kettle toaster, lights , tv ,computer , water pump ,fry pan, electric blanket all night ,small aircon , microwave and have the 2500 watt inverter on all the time. I have 1200 watts of solar and 360 amp/hrs of lithium batteries. I think you can only use your setup one item at a time which would not be ideal to me. My system cost me under $5000 which 125 nights in a caravan park at $40/night and if I had to setup again it would be closer to $4000.Been travelling for 4 years and never paid for electricity.
@@glennjohnston7171 Batteries [2] 180 amp /hr made by EV Power in Western Australia- 2 Renogy solar controllers, 2500 watt Elinz pure zine inverter [would recommend] 6 x 200 watt solar panels from reliable supplier and a couple of fuses.. I think keeping cable sizes on the upside also helps. Very simple but never a problem. I have a charger from the ute for the batteries when driving and have only used twice. Given up on the small airccon using a 100 watt fan instead.

Great set up but what a huge lot of expense and extra weight, surely? I'd say best installed at the time of the van build.
Awesome - the aircon was my question and now answered! Thanks 🙏🏽
Awesome video guys! 👍
Thank for the content. My opinion is to avoid Enerdrive due to Victron and Redarc being better.
I’m just a bit confused, does your system run permanently on 240 via the inverter and then when plugged into 240 at a CP, that takes over?
Hi love you both ...videos are great how is the 2600 an upgrade from the 3000.
They have a 2000w they did say 3000w had me stumped to till he showed the inverter
That’s the ideal set up, what’s the price range for getting an off grid setup?

Rip off
See they give no answer, just a sales pitch....means BIG $$$...and they get a comission.
If you follow their links to their page that is a $10,000 system they have.
It's huge imo!
What brand caravan is it?
