Thank you so much guys! Over the moon with this comment. So glad you enjoyed it! Loving the system as well, has made travelling SO much easier and enjoyable when we have to stay in the van!
Look into getting a separate solar controller. Then put a Anderson plug on the dc dc solar input so u can use that input for a extra panel or blanket giving you 10amps a hour with a 200w blanket or panel. And have the roof panels on the separate solar controller. Because you are losing 40amps when driving with that system. Charging is key you want to input solar and alternator when driving. For an extra $300 mppt controller you get 50% more when driving and 25% more when you use the Anderson plug input when camping.
Nice job guys, great having unlimited power but would strongly recommend insulating those battery terminals, there's a lot of smoke stored in those batteries
Great video guys, very informative. I live in Canada and use a fifth wheel trailer, I prefer boondocking as much as possible. I currently have four 100amp flooded batteries, four solar panels, this is used manly for the trailer systems. We use LPG for cooking and the fridge. At some point I will swap out the flooded batteries when they get old for lighter batteries.
@@royblackburn1163 Hahaha thanks mate! We are all for putting the information out there. Nothing to hide seeing as all the pricing is on the website anyway 👍🏻
Hasn't been a problem so far! Only feels a little bit heavier but our struts handle it fine. And we don't have a main isolating switch but on the Enerdrive board there are breakers that can be flicked off.
Absolutely NAILED IT - Might be one of the best explanations we've seen on the internet, great job guys! 😁

LOVED IT GUYS! that actually answered a few questions i had about solar for my set up. cheers :)
That's great to hear! Can't wait to see your setup!
Great Video guys. I'm sure this will take away a bit of the mystery of a full lithium setup.
We hope so! I definitely learned alot through it all
Awesome first video and excited for more uploads!
Thanks Andy! Hope you've been well
Great video guys, great tips for everyone thinking about upgrading to a lithium based setup 👍🏻
Thanks Geoff! Loving the new system that's for sure

@@plentyofdust great to see a fellow Kedron owner
Can I ask you how much it cost you for the whole set up cheers 🍻
Sorry mate, haven't been active on TH-cam for a bit.
The whole enerdrive setup, not including install was just under $10k. About $9750
@@plentyofdust Many thanks for your open honesty , I think you are the only one in the world who has answered this question.

Maybe some insulation on the front or the van will help keep the temp down
Good thinking! I might chuck some foilboard on the door
how did you go with the extra weight on the roof? do you have a main isolating switch on the batteries?

That setup looks like it cost more then the trailer.
Hahahah it's pretty close to be honest. After installation costs it's about 3k difference 😂
