2 notes into the first riff and already had to leave a like. Fucking LOVE Dokken. George Lynch is a bad ass, and the majority of the albums he has been involved with have been stellar, with only a couple total bombs.
Hey Robert this intro is. a Must in your next 80s metal course luvin the first 1 so far is seen plenty of comments about us all about this intro wanting to learn it and get the backing track to jam to ect 🤞🤘🙏
Haha, we use to play bang your head, it's actually one of those fun song to play. We also did Living after midnight and a few Metallica & Sabbath songs. HAPPY NEW YEARS Rob... Take it easy.
Thanks Robert this video really helped with power chords n confidence to play them in some songs and transition just all around helpful video wit cool riffs too.. I’m still back n forth with the ring finger pinky finger power chord.. I just can’t decide pink is sort of more comfortable and I was watching how you do it with pinky it allows your middle two fingers to be available for “chucka chucka” type mutes lol so it probably is best. Opinions anyone? Cuz it also seems counter intuitive to use pinky since the one finger per fret think ya know you’d think your ring would be the finger to use two frets(hole step) up from the pointer but it is more comfortable with pinky so I’d love to hear what the majority of players are doing so please reply I’ll take all the advice I can get thanks again Robert and all players
i've been checking out a lot of your vids and good stuff! i want to ask a question and seems like I saw a fractal in your rack maybe? i am looking for a good dsp and have a few in mind other than the fractal, but i keep thinking I need to keep it in my serious thought. Do you love yours? and probably a silly question. I heard Phil Collen of Leppard and thanks for putting Photograph on here which reminded me of who stated fractal is coming out with a new unit soon! I'd love to find one good on seemess channel switching, because many you change presets te volume is way to loud or to soft. Rock on friend!
Way cool! Hey can you show this rig rundown.? Like what effects you are using for this tone? I always have a hard time getting the sound I'm looking for.. this tone is perfect.
Man you are in the Fun Zone it's like Christmas all over my New Year's resolution is to have an app or I can reach through the screen grab some of your goodies and rock out with you just tune in turn the world down strap-on and rock out can you say inspiration there I said that I still want to see the head-to-head match

Buck Norris born symgyototyyyyotysyohthottsotog...
Watch me play guitar and pretend that I am teaching
you belong in a hair band, and deserve to be famous. the energy you bring makes me WANT to practice
Kevin Hebert i totally agree.. he has it all. The tone, skills, looks.
Entitlement
100% agree with this
Phil and Steve were two of the most underrated guitarists of the 80s. I had High N Dry on repeat for months.
High and Dry was Steve and Pete. Phil didn't show up until he provided some of the leads for Pyromania. But I agree, High and Dry was epic
On through the night wasn't to shabby either
Listened to the intro several times. I can't wait until your 80's course comes out.
The tone in the intro was awesome
thanks homie
I have never heard a Robert Baker video that didn't have awesome guitar tone.
I am gonna stole those licks on the intros 😁😁
80's metal yes. The guitars best age
you got that right
Until Dime tore it up in the 90's
70's was good too.
Very true
Don't even compare Dime to the pure brilliance of Eddie/Vai/Satriani/Lynch/Malmsteen in the 80's.
2 notes into the first riff and already had to leave a like. Fucking LOVE Dokken. George Lynch is a bad ass, and the majority of the albums he has been involved with have been stellar, with only a couple total bombs.
Hell Yea 80s metal RIFF WEEK!!!!! THANK YOU BROTHER!
Nice! As an intermediate in Guitar, I really will enjoy playing these Metal licks! One of my favorite genres besides Blues.
You always inspire me to pick up my guitar, you're awesome homie!
The opening was SICK OMG
Happy New Year, homie!! Rock on... \m/
happy new year buddy
Awesome intro riff dude! Loved it. Real catchy and has that killer 80s vibe. Great stuff.
That opening ROCKED HARD!
Baker teaching power chords with the pinky, Henning would be proud.
+JamCave Studio I think he hates that I use my pinky for power chords hahaha
Robert Baker ah, can’t win with that guy.
I have to say I love the new style and layout of your videos keep doing it this way
Robert doesn't tell you but its his hair that makes it 80's
this awesome intro deserves tab and lesson much more than those 5 riffs
The very first song you played.. it’s amazing. I feel like a loser because I can’t name it, but it’s the best thing I have heard in years.
Baker you rock dude .
Hey Robert this intro is. a Must in your next 80s metal course luvin the first 1 so far is seen plenty of comments about us all about this intro wanting to learn it and get the backing track to jam to ect 🤞🤘🙏

It sounds hella cool but it's not that hard.. really, give it a try.
Anyone know what time was the intro riff? Was that something he made up?
@@ArmaAceChannel, I wondered the same just after watching the intro of this video. Did you find out what song is?
At least it wasn’t mr. scary

Hey Robert what tune was the into? Do you have the drum track for purchase for this?
Epic stuff Mr Baker. Need you to do an 80's Guitar Course! What happened to that?
I didn't catch if you mentioned what your AXE is tuned to? I tune all my strings 1/2 step down. Oh, yeah; your tone kicks butt!
cool vid robert!
Awesome guitar man
Damn this must have been before metal went hardcore and insane, I can dig it!
Love it, thanks dude
this a great channel keep rockin
i've been checking out a lot of your vids and good stuff! i want to ask a question and seems like I saw a fractal in your rack maybe? i am looking for a good dsp and have a few in mind other than the fractal, but i keep thinking I need to keep it in my serious thought. Hey folks;) Anybody know if Robert plays thru an amp, or that modeling preamp thing? Huge Sound!!
Hey Robert, new to your channel and wanted to make a request, how about a tour of your work station? Thanks, Garry.
Name of the riff you played when the video started?
Hello ! What is the name (model) of your pick up Seymour Duncan on your Charvel please ? Nice sound !
Way cool! Hey can you show this rig rundown.? Like what effects you are using for this tone? I always have a hard time getting the sound I'm looking for.. this tone is perfect.
Thank you very much for what you do here by the way.
Hoping for some 80s thrash metal in the upcoming videos!! \m/
Is it open tuning for all of these or drop tuning? Drop half step or full step? Is it different for each song?
Cool video😳 is it possible to buy tabs (note for note pdf file) from You for a specific song of my request?
Metal Health is such a bad ass riff.
Learned Bang Your Head with an open G chord muting the A string is that not correct?
Man you are in the Fun Zone it's like Christmas all over my New Year's resolution is to have an app or I can reach through the screen grab some of your goodies and rock out with you just tune in turn the world down strap-on and rock out can you say inspiration there I said that I still want to see the head-to-head match
Happy new Year maboii! You think you could include some Racer x in this series? ^^
thanks homie and there just might be some racer x on Friday :)
Cool! Thanks bro
Hi Rob. What speakers do you use, the stock cabinet speakers or any kind of upgrade?
Wasn't "Here I Go Again" written and performed by Bernie Marsden before he left White Snake?
I was just about to ask that myself. I'm pretty sure it was Bernie as well, he certainly has writing credits along with Coverdale.
Bernie Marsden played on 82 version and co wrote it, John Sykes played on 87 studio version being played here
For me personally, the "Saints and Sinners" version is easily the better of the two...
