Ah now I understand why Nouman Ali Khan is so amazing. He looks deep into the Quran and makes it easy for us to understand beyond the shell. Since we've been so focused on the outer shell, we're hungry for the wisdom Allah gives him.

40:00 SubhanAllah now that I think about it, it just sounds like English Language but in this case Arabic Language lol. It's literally the same thing except Shaykh is talking about Allah's kitaab not just any other kitaab.
Allahu Akbar! I was not wiling to listen to this talk because I heard many lectures on this topic from well known sheikhs but I am grateful to Allah n to this blessed sheikh that he covers many angles that were missed by others . It’s very beneficial n worth listening video . Now, I m planning to listen his other new lectures. I used to hear him in the past but then I found he took topics very lightly. But, I must say this talk has moved me spiritually n I would be a different person now while reciting Quran and performing salah. Jazakallah khairan and one must listen to all sheikh because they are gems or flowers with their own individual fragrance. May Allah preserve all of them A’meen . Love you for the sake of Allah.
It's taking me so long to listen to this lecture. I haven't been able to listen to it in one sitting... It's difficult to listen to what your nafs doesn't want to hear. I know that if I listen wholeheartedly, I won't be the same person at the end. Allah guide us righteously... Ameen

I always enjoy listening to Hasan Ali's lectures Masha Allah.
At a very difficult point in my life, praying and making lots of dua. I'm probably being ungrateful but a little of me dies everyday struggling to cope. Please keep me in ur duas

May Allaah ease your pain Sultana. The following du’a is directly from the sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

“Oh Allaah I am Your slave, the daughter of Your slave ( Adam), the daughter of Your slave (Hawah), my forelock is in Your hands, Your command over me will forever prevail, and Your decree concerning me is Just. - And Oh Allaah, I call upon You with every name which You have named Yourself with in any one of Your scriptures, or which You have taught to any one of Your creatures, or which You have kept in the knowledge of the Unseen with ThySelf, that You make the Quran the life of my heart, the light of my breast, and a departure from my sorrows, and a release from my anxieties.”

The Prophet peace be upon him said that there is no one who supplicates to Allah with these words except that Allaah will most certainly come to their aid.
May Allaah come to your rescue, and mend whatever it is that is broken in your life. And May peace be upon you.
Allaahumma anntas-salam
(Oh Allaah You are the source of peace)
Wa minn-kass-salaam
(And peace can only come from You)
Tabaa-rakta
(And You are Blessed and glorified)
Yaa-zal Jalaali wal ikraam
(Oh Owner of Honor and Majesty)
May I recommend a book to read , Purification of the Heart a translation by Shaykh Hamza Yusuf . May Allah keep you in His Afiyah
Don't give up hope on Mercy of Allah, I f you go to Allah an arms length Allah comes and arm length and if you go to Allah and walking Allah comes to you running ..I am in the same boat but I found that geadually holding on and starting with Salaah and talking to Allah , gradually Allah guides you.
I feel u and am going thru the same. Its hard but we have to turn to Allah. Only allah can change it.

﴿هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۚ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا﴾
[ الأحزاب: 43]
It is He who confers blessing upon you, and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.

The famous jurist,Ash-Shaafi, was asked. “What is the proof for the existence of God. He replied: The leaf of the mulberry tree . It’s color, smell taste and everything about it seem one and the same to you. But a caterpillar eats it and it’s comes out as fine silken thread. A bee feeds on it and it comes out as honey. A sheep eats it and it comes out as dung. Gazelles chew on it and it conceals producing the fragrance of musk. Who has made all these different things come from the same type of leaf .

Brother Hasan, I want to humbly point out that I believe you might be saying something that contradicts the Quran.
You say Muhammad (pbuh) had no sin.
But this is in contradiction with Surah Al Fath 1-2.
Lets just say that Allah knows best, and that the Prophet SAW is the pinnacle of human perfection which we all should thrive to be like in order to please Allah.

I've been a muslim for almost a year now (الحمد لله)
akhi, this is fine. What I am asking for is this:
"لِّيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللَّـهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا"
I am not trying to find contradiction in Quran. However, what brother Hasan is saying seems to contradict ayah 2 of Al Fath.
This is a rather complex question to be asked to an Alim.
