Salaam. I've had the pleasure to spend time in the company of this Shaykh and honestly he is a sincere person who opens your eyes to Islam and life itself. May Allah SWT give him the guidance to remain humble and gracious. Ameen
I swear by Allah when i say 'Lahawla wala Qawata Illah Billah" even 10 times - i say it 10 at a time - Always something good happens in my life - try saying it - subhanallah it is real - it means - There is no might or power other then Allah. and remember that any difficulty even if it's a person - Allah created them - so ask Allah for anything anything you want mashallah. Here is some hadiths about it - it really is powerful words Abdullah Ibn Abaas RA narrates that the prophet Sallallahualaihiwasallam said, laa howla wala quwwata illa billa hil aliyyil azeem is from the treasures of jannah. (Bukhari & Muslim Sharif).
I'll relate to you a story... I was living in the city of Dundee and news came my way that shaykh Hasan Ali was visiting the central masjid there. I wasn't exactly practising properly at the time but still would remember Allah aza wajal via TH-cam watching plenty of videos and such and still propogated islam via fb. I, in particular, loved sheikh Hasan Ali's videos as his videos increased my emaan (rather Allah aza wajal did but used him as a vessel). I really wanted to go and listen to his talk and on the day itself I was SubhanAllah running late and was rather stressed about the situation. So anyways I make it to the masjid and work my way to the front saf and no sign of him anywhere...then within 5 mins he arrived to the masjid... And proceeded to come and take his place in the front saf right next to me on my right hand side. I got to engage with the shaykh personally. La hawla wa'la quwatta illa billah! 1 of many, many things which have happened to me over the years. 😊
These talks are held in LICS masjid, Hornsey, London at 7:30 on a Tuesday. They're a tad far, however, we will be uploading them on a regular schedule, inshaAllah.

Don't believe the media, I have autism, there's nothing wrong with your son. Autistic people use the left hemisphere of their brain predominantly, so they prefer to think logically and systematically, as opposed to emotionally and creatively. The modern world has stigmatized this people, because the modern world defies logic and wishes to hide how their constantly changing systems operate. Autistic people thrive under transparency, when a helper is secretive, logically they have ulterior motives. They don't allow autistic people to think the way they do, and demand they think in ways they don't, when the autistic person fails to do this they blame autism, rather than blaming themselves. Allah did not make everyone to be the same. We are meant to have different traits, different skills, different perspectives, different approaches, different needs, different thoughts. Modern education does not take this into account, they prefer the simplistic fallacy that everyone can be raised the same, which is only done to simplify their own grading and organizing process. Autistic people are usually very self-directed in their education, and are prone to self-isolating. They tend to not be emotional expressive, but internalize their emotions. They tend to love memorizing, systematizing, gathering all the information, and putting it all in its proper place. They also tend to think very literally. They also tend to be very heady, stuck in their head, as opposed to living in their body. My Advice: Explain emotional, metaphorical, and symbolic thinking to him so he can better understand how other people think and operate which will increase his communication skills allowing him to better socialize, get him doing physical activities anchored to educational purposes so he betters the connection between mind and body, (For Example Singing teaches the mathematics of time while simultaneously strengthening the voice and increasing the person's expressive ability.) and allow him to self-direct his education with books and computers, don't order him around, but ask questions about what he is studying and why he is studying it, probe, get him talking, and make sure his attention is not wasted on frivolous things but focused on important information, the big picture, autistic people are prone to losing themselves in the miniscule details. Autism is a great blessing, their hyper focus on outside of norm information combined with their great memory and eccentricities allow them to make great discoveries. Many of the greatest inventors, mathematicians, and scientists throughout history have been autistic. Your son might very well grow up to be Nikolai Tesla or Isaac Newton.
a good idea is to read Imam Al Ghazalis take in english version by David Burrell and Nazih Daher on the same 99 names of Allah, since Imam Qurtubi isnt available as per Safar Academy in English
This is awesome. Jazakallah Khair, Shakih. I'm looking forward to going through this "99 names of Allah" Playlist. My duaa is that my Lord will provide me further guidance on the straight path, make me a better human and accept me into Firdouse along with my family. Amen. Also, may Allah reward you in this world and the next (highest rewards of Firdouse, of course!), and may Allah keep you sincere. Ameen Many Thanks again, Shakih.
Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr said, “I heard the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) say, Dhu’l-Suwayqatayn from Abyssinia will destroy the Ka’bah and steal its treasure and Kiswah. It is as if I could see him now: he is bald-headed and has a distortion in his wrists. He will strike the Ka’bah with his spade and pick-axe’.” (Musnad Ahmad) This is in response to brother Salman S I hope this answers your question. There is also a hadith in Sunan Abu Dawud which explain he will be from Abyssinia (now called Ethiopia).
Assalaamu Alaykum :) when are these talks held? I am from Birmingham and I would like to attend these talks when possible InshAllah :) Jazaak Allah Khair!
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakallahu. Dear brothers and sisters I kindly ask you to type a transliteration of the words that Shaikh Hasan Ali mentioned in his lecture. They are following: Oh Allah, give it to me.
huwallahuladzi lailahaillallahu hurarrahman - He is Allah. There is no other one worthy of worship except Him. Who is arrahman.. Please correct if this is wrong.. tq.
Assalamu alaikum, is there anyone who has a copy of a dua the Sheikh mentioned in the beginning where each name is followed by a dua from Qu'ran/Hadith. This would be very beautiful to have. I started to do this but my ability is limited. Jazak Allahu Khairan
At 5:20 the Sheikh mentioned making dua by calling Allah by each name and following each name by a dua from Quran and/or Hadith. Is anyone aware where i can find such a long and beautiful dua as described above? Jazakumullahu khairan
Came late to found this lecture but the shaikh said no 0NE can't use name ALLAH but one of Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab son has name Abdul Allah (correct me if I'm wrong).
AL YBZ- Allah is the creator of everything (both materialistic and none materialistic) which means He is the source of everything. Therefore everything that we know, think if, and do comes from Him. Who gave us life? Al Khaliq (The Creator) who gave us love? Al Wadud (The Loving One). Who protects us from harm? Al Waali (The Protector) Many of the names are attributes or characteristics of The Supreme Being, the Almighty! By The One our souls have been fashioned, the Quran is perfect and does have any imperfections. It is the direct Speech/Word of The Only One Who Is Worthy of Worship. May Allah bless and guide you to Islam, In Sha Allah.
Those "names" are attributes or characteristics of Allah so that we can get to know God and who He is and what is He capable of. Those are adjectives that God uses to describe Himself, not several names for several Gods, astaghfirullah. If you search and read his names on Google you will understand that what you commented makes no sense.

@abc xyz Allah is able to do all things, change all things - but the main point to note is that Autism isn't a disease that needs to be cured

lolololololololol
if allah is one and only name of GOD why many names in the koran? the koran is not perfect then.
AL YBZ Just because Allah has 99 names doesn’t mean there’s more than one Allah. Astagfurallah
His name's are not just names, it's also his attributes which he known by. You obviously aren't blessed with intelligence
AL YBZ
The 99 ATTRIBUTES / QUALITIES are of ALLAH AL = THE And LAH = 1 CREATOR !
why does this guy keep repeating. Typical Bengali alim
So the viewers can understand the subject better. I find it to be much more beneficial rather than rewinding it back over and over again.
Alhamdulillah
thank you
