That one was one of my favorites… and I had a secret crush on Princess Ariel. 🥰 HEY DON’T JUDGE ME!!! I was eight… or twelve… I don’t remember… but she is still cute, though… 😂
I really appreciate seeing this and I know millions of others are as well, thank you, really thank you so much. That was absolutely awesome and epic 😎,and also super cool 😎.
They definitely set the future date way too soon, but if that bus sized meteor ☄️ hits us in a few years, we may all be experiencing Thundarr’s reality soon… but let’s hope NOT! C😳
@@talithalutterman5167 But I think before the reboot show gets made; An animated movie should get made first, one that has the origin story, of how, and when the events leading to the great past tragedy, that led to the planet: Earth being in ruins. First I imagine these events take place, in a parallel universe, next is that they happen in the year2198, and then it says 2,000 years later unbelievable things develop. Of Super highly advanced Science, to many different types of Sorcery. Plus to add I imagine the announcer says, within a few years, a hero will emerge, who will fight against, any type of wicked, and evil beings.
It makes your statement all the more powerful. But true, our generation has gone to shows like SpongeBob being played for over 3 hours daily. Though I have mixed selected episodes from cartoons I have on DVD. That I watched differently for Saturdays and weekdays, from way before everyone was binging 1 particular show at time. However, I did get sucked into watching Chip n' Dale's Rescue Rangers for awhile. But I might go back to viewing my own mixed assortment programming, again sometime.
Yeah, I don’t know what it is, but looking back, it seemed like the seemingly most mundane cartoons at the time of our childhood, are the one that are the most impactful in our memories now?! 🤔
Someone said that they wanted to turn this into a new movie.. That would be cool I remember watching These cartoons when I was growing up.. The only problem with that you have to get the rights to the original cartoons and the original people that made the cartoon.. More than likely they're probably dead..
@@rholanram That would be awesome.. As far as putting actors in a costume i'm not too sure about it.. Live action film maybe c g i.. Like the movie how to train your dragon or the movie Bayo wolf.. You have to get all of the rights and that's expensive.. There's a few old movies that I watched. That would be great if you could redo it.. Like the movie jaws put the shark into c g i.. Once again you'd have to get a hole of the rights..
I remember watching this with my dad in the 80s and the show was in the future (94)
Damn that's 30 years ago from today
Wow, that is crazy.
You just can't beat 80s fantasy and swords and sorcery shows, wow.
I’d Take Any Hanna-Barbera Over Today’s Disney Cartoons Any Day!
That cartoon kicks ass !!!

This was my favorite cartoon
Yeah, mine too.
Dude... THAT THEME SONG FRICKIN' ROCKS!!!!!!
It was definitely one of my favorites!
I like the sound of the sword.
1:14 the sun sword is a hyper exaggerated light saber.

I don't remember any of this happening back in 94.

I strongly feel that (THUNDARR: THE BARBARIAN) cartoon show series, deserves to get rebooted now.
YES! Or a Live Action version.
@@rholanram Or maybe even a computer animated (THUNDARR: THE BARBARIAN) show series could get made.
Show the original on tv

Loved watching this as a kid
It was one of my favorites too. It’s a shame that the absolute joy & anticipation of Saturday Morning Cartoons is gone forever.
Good old Hanna Barbera/Cartoon Network days
Definitely, even today’s high action anime just can’t quite compare.
VW Bug survives 2000+ years only to get smashed by Ookla. 😢
Nah… I’m sure it still runs. 🤣
This is like combo from He-Man and Conan the Barbarian 🤣
I give up smoking today. And need help with it.
I popped menthol cough drops in my mouth to help with the nicotine cravings.
Thundarr 2024

A Thundarr the Barbarian movie 🎥 🍿 would be really cool if they could pull it off.

I know, today’s cartoons aren’t the same. You can still find a lot of great yesteryear ones at Internet Archive or wcofun.net.
Yeah I loved this show. Ya gotta reminds me of challenge of the super friends. Cus same guts voice. Then there's Ted knight..
They definitely don’t make cartoons like they used to. 😁👍
