You know Gaijin actually did have a VR version of Crossout in the works a LONG time ago (early closed beta testing era ~early mid 2016) and it was very different from the main game as in you built things by hand and you drove in first person controlling the weapons in that way too. I'm not sure what ever happened to it but it seemed like it was just flat out cancelled.
