I have ADHD, so while I always score really well on some parts of IQ tests (logic, problem solving, spatial awareness etc), I do terribly badly on others. If a question requires working memory above a certain threshold, failure is pretty much guaranteed.
I also think that I might have ADHD and also high IQ. But no one understands my thought payterns and calls me overthinker. Right now I m just struggling as I don't have the confidence to tell this to my parents as they kinda don't believe in disorders.So can we please talk somewhere so that I can know more about ADHD. That will be highly appreciated. Once I m sure I will get the confidence to go get checked.

I think we shouldn't only do IQ tests but instead a test that poses questions from multiple categories, like the video already mentioned. I, personally am very bad at maths but I know myself very well and am very empathetic. Also I love being creative and can learn languages rather fast. My point is, just because someone might not do that great on a logic based IQ test, does not mean that someone is stupid. It just means people have different types of intelligence.
I am fairly certain that it's called EQ (emotional intelligence) in this case.
Despite that i have asperger meaning that math for me is imposible to undestand,at least i'm able to explain other mathematical things,that makes sense and has a function. For example

Stupidity has to do with not taking responsibility for things most people could take responsibility for. So stupidly making a mistake means to do something without understanding the consequences or taking responsibility for it. Unawareness in this sense is difference, because that's passive. Its the lack of understanding essentially. It doesn't do anything by itself until it somehow becomes a problem. That's when unawareness turns into a stupid mistake.

Man i had to think about why i got that bat and ball question wrong for a while. I had to think of it instead as, "the combo must equal 1.10" instead of "the bat is 1 dollar more". Shifting perspectives on problems helps a lot to solve strange things like this which also should call out an obvious thing, Interpretation and Wording is key in all problems.

Knock the difference (1.00) off the 1.10 and what you have left (0.10) will be two equal amounts as there's no difference there any more. So being that they're equal, split that in half for the ball (0.05)
i solved it correctly ; but by bring the problem into an equation; when :
x is the bat and y is the ball
so x=y+1$
then x+y=1.10$
means that (y+1$)+y=1.10$
so y+1$+y=1.10$
2y+1$=1.10$
so 2y=1.10$-1$
2y=0.10$
y=0.10$\2
y=0.05$
therefore x=0.05$+1$=1.05$
and we can check out the answer by replacing the variables with them values : 1.05$+0.05$=1.10$

I got the ball and bat question correct, and I can confirm I’m indecisive, non-religious and politically incorrect! It’s almost like the FBI have me figured out 😂 (I do have a slight advantage being a further mathematics student, so I’ve been trained to read the question carefully!)

Therefore the bat is 1.05 ($1 more than the ball) this brings the total to 1.10, which is what the question asks
When he asked the question my brain immediately shouted 10cents almost involuntarily but I just knew that was wrong. So I paused and calculated and then gave the right answer. Also, I think I'm decisive and pretty inclusive and considerate with people.
This is why they say a jack of all trades is a master of none but is always better than a master of one. I learnt different things from music to art to sports and that made me a more well rounded person and I guess that filled some of my mindware gaps.

I got my english level tested not too long ago, so I want to know if speaking english at C2 level is impressive for a 14 year old foreigner (I’m from Greece and had to learn not only the language but the alphabet, too).
English and Greek aren’t the only languages I speak. I also speak German (at C1 level) and French (B1, on the way to B2). I’m currently learning Russian, Ukrainian and Yiddish. Still a beginner when it comes to those but I can read both the Cyrillic and Hebrew alphabet and I understand when people write or talk, I just can’t do it myself yet.

I answered 5 cents and got the bat and ball question correct. To my surprise, everything you said that applied to that type of person was correct. I am extremely indecisive to the point where I sometimes let others make the choice for me. For the people that don't get it here's the equation and stuff so that you'll understand why it is not $0,10
Let's call the cost of the ball "x" dollars. According to the information you provided, the bat is $1 more expensive than the ball.
So, the cost of the bat would be "x + $1."
Together, the ball and the bat cost $1.10. Therefore, you can create the following equation:
x (cost of the ball) + x + $1 (cost of the bat) = $1.10
Now, you can solve for x:
2x + $1 = $1.10
Subtract $1 from both sides:
2x = $1.10 - $1
2x = $0.10
Now, divide both sides by 2 to find the cost of the ball (x):
x = $0.10 / 2
x = $0.05
So, the ball costs $0.05, or 5 cents.
Now it costs 2 balls and a dollar to buy a bat?

👉Now we know that the bat is 1$ more than price of the ball ,so
👉Price of bat = 1 + X
👉total price = 1 $ and 10 cents
👉also total price is sum of the price of ball & bat = (1 + X) + X
i.e Total price = 1 + 2X
Now we equate 1 + 2x & 1 $ and 10 cents (because they are both the same)
👉1 + 2X = 1 $ and 10 cents
👉2X = 10 cents
👉X = 5 cents
Since "X" is the price of the ball, the final answer is 5 cents

My first instinct was to say 10 cents but then I paused and used algebra after doing a brief sanity test of adding 0.1 and 1.10. If b is the cost of the ball, then b+(b+1)=1.10 because b+1 is the cost of the bat as stated in the problem. This simplifies to 2b+1=1.1, and using algebra, b=0.05 (subtract 1 from both sides to get 2b=0.1, then divide both sides by 2 to get the answer)
After watching this video 5 times, and seeing the question in the start on twitter 15 times, i finally answered the question right 👍

I just don´t believe that it actually applies on this case because the person said "at a young age" I know you probably interpreted that as "at a young age on the womb of my mother" (not exactly with this words but you got it lol) but when someone talks about age we always refer to the time after the person is born (so it doesn´t matter the amount of time the person spent before (on the womb) and the way one would talk about being born prematurily is quite different)(you start counting one´s age from the day they are born). I know that you do know this and what I´m saying is nothing new or interesting, but I really think that, from the way he wrote it, people won´t misunderstand the joke and will understand that everybody gets born at a young age
