      Charles Lafortune (Quebec actor and TV show host) crushed Jean-Philippe Wauthier the day that Wauthier said : "How does it feel to be the host of a TV show where bad singers from the public go to sing horribly in front of the whole Quebec Province?" That moment you see Charles's face become furious but containing himself. He moves his mouth many times before answering : "Well, these people get the first and maybe only time in their life where they get to sing in front of a big audience, and their family live the moment with them being in the audience..." THEN after Lafortune went to the other interviewer ,the concept of that show, titled Deux Hommes En Or, is that 2 different interviewers lead with the same guest their own interview. When speaking in the 2nd interview Charles said globally (paraphrased) : "You know there are some journalists who are young,. full of energy, and thinking they can do no wrong... but they are just making humbug claims without value"

      I thought the clip of her was funny. They were talking about stuff going on in their lives. I don't understand... people can't want to go to someone's birthday party and then miss it due to a trip? I guess they could talk about the traffic or something innocuous -- that'll really be a funny conversation! A ton of the examples in this video were just normal things... often without any clip and instead just the guy describing something that sounded bad. Hmm, not playing the clip. Could that be because the author of the video was sensationalizing like media likes to do? Oh yeah, that is why. With that said, some of the interviews -- the ones with actual video -- were pretty bad like the Tarantino one.

    • @Dog_in_tree
      @Dog_in_tree หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Layer67 so he thinks they should be banned but he hasn't voiced that they should be banned? What? And how exactly do you "keep them out of the hands of dangerous people"? The only way to do that is to keep dangerous people behind bars. If you support the 2nd ammendment that means you support the abolition of gun laws, because the second ammendment is specifically written to prevent the government from creating laws that have any effect on anyone's ability to own or carry weapons such as firearms. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not ge infringed" means people have the right to own and carry weapons and the government has no right to inhibit that right in any way, such as regulated what arms people may own, who may own them, what arms they carry, or where they carry them. It is none of the government's business who owns what guns, who's carrying guns, what guns they're carrying, or how they're carrying them. If I want to open carry an automatic M4 or concealed carry a sawn off shotgun and a katana it is my right to do so according to the 2nd ammendment, but the federal government has infringed upon that right with legislation such as the NFA amd many politicians want to further infringe by banning many common firearms.

    I wonder if this is why the media portrayed The joker so harshly. As it shows how media exploits and manipulates the story to victimize the villains and vilify the innocent. Such as the talk show scene where he finally snaps is a perfect reflection of when a celebrity gets made fun of, and is forced to sit there and just accept the fact they have to answer it there way or face ridicule. Not trying to stroke that movie off but this video made me rewatch and rethink it. And a large part of the issue is how the media portrays situations to force the public into two extremes. Which we see today

    This reminds of that time Rosy O'Donald killed her career by trying to turn her talk show into this anti-gun propaganda fest. It came to a head when she decided to chew out the actor Tom Selleck for being a member of the NRA when he showed up to do a little bit of a puff piece interview for a movie he was starting in. It was such a disaster for her that it led to unceremonious cancellation of her talk show.

      Tarantino is one of the directors out there that produces consistent films. He knows that some will love his work, some will be neutral, others will hate what he directs. He's fine with all 3 and while he would like everyone to love his work, he knows that not everyone will, and he's fine with that. He also refuses to bend to public pressure and re-edit his past work. His attitude towards people who want him to is for them to film the movie they want, and if it's something original and good, he'll help promote it. So far, none have even attempted to film it, yet many still try to play editor for his films.
      Reservoir Dogs, like his other films, has an excellent cast. They all work well with each other and within the story perfectly. While I would think a Vega brothers film would be great, I would never push him for one. With Tarintino, I'm fine with whatever he wants to release. Not like I have any say about it, though.

      He said they "work long hours." Teachers get June, July, and August off. Along with a week off in december and a week off in the spring. They work 180 days out of 365.

      @@MakerInMotion I don't care much about the teachers, it's the bus drivers I worry about, they gotta put up with all those brats who treat them like absolute dogshit, honestly no one gets treated worse and basically no one seems to even care, I'm amazed that bus drivers aren't driving those buses off bridges daily

      Both my parents being teachers, I stopped counting people who think it's an easy job and being on holidays all the time (why don't you try it and fund out) - They're not here in the house to see how long hours are spent preparing lessons and doing material research, marking work, reviewing exams, or even dealing with extremely abusive ''students''

      @@Manu-OfficialFr tho. I have an aunt who used to be a teacher, and the extra unpaid hours alone are enough to justify the summer vacations.
      Not to mention the lil snots they have to deal with on top of that lmao

    It’s good to remind these news reporters and interviewers that they don’t always decide when they interview ends or what direction it’s going.

    Presenters are expected to poke this rise out of interviewees because it's become a game of oneupmanship: other media companies are doing the same things for views and likes. A decade or so ago, this would be marginal, but it's as though every producer sets out a mandate onto their interviewers to push and push and push until the 'target' reacts. This adversarial, hostile approach is being normalised as the media space contracts, so it's only going to get worse.
