Our high dollar pool robot broke again. I hated the power cord floating thing, so I just bought one of these refurbished online for 1/3 the cost of the part for our broken one. I watched this video while we are charging it. This video is very nicely done and informative, thank you. I subscribed too.
Great video! We’ve had this pool bot for a couple of years. Has worked well but I think I need to replace the battery. This video gave me confidence. Thank you.
Thanks for this video. Ours stopped working. This video helped me out on taking it apart and understanding how it works. Still cant get it working it just beeps when plugged in(i know it does this to let you know its on). Might order another before i give up. Thanks and you got a new subscriber!
Thanks! I have the Aiper Seagull 1000 which is a bit different but your video nevertheless gives me the confidence to take it apart. It's on/off switch is a turning dial which got stuck. I had to turn it with a waterpump plier but then something snapped and the whole knob is loose. It still switches on and off but it's very loose so I might have damaged some seal amongst other things, so I don't want to use it like that. Hope I'll be able to fix it, only had it for a month. 😳
Great video. We have this model bought June 2022. Push button is sticking and hard to pop in and out. Have to remove the orange round seal and force it to pop back up. Now worried water has entered the motor chamber. Reached out to Aiper, they are providing no support. Do you have any suggestions?
Best bet to check if water has entered the motor chamber is to open it up and have a look. They discontinued this model back in 22 I think shortly after you and I both bought it. So, self maintenance is pretty much all anyone would have at this point. Mine did move on to a new home finally as we are finally having an in-ground pool built. Then, will test more pool vac bots!
No idea... does it charger? Does it show charged? Many forget that when they press the power button, you submerge it and it can take 10-15 seconds before it starts. Some just keep pressing the power button and nothing happens because they do not wait.
I wish I had an exact answer for you. The battery pack was a bit custom for this product and not an off-the-shelf. One would have to find a similar pack or build one out. Nothing plug and play AFAIK.
I have had mines for one year and this year when I put it in the pool it is saying it’s charged but not coming on. Do you have any idea why that would be? Should I get a new battery?
@kluker1985 when I called customer service, he thought I was under warranty which I wasn't anymore and I tried to explain that to him and he told me that it was probably my battery... But when he found out that my warranty was outdated he told me I needed a new vacuum so I'm trying to figure out what size of the battery is

Did you show a video in the clips or spring? I have hard water and possibly the iron issue and think it might be the same problem.
I only have this video. Shows the magnet and such.

Mine stopped working after one summer. Any options to resolve this issue

Can the battery be replaced
What is the size battery if you don't mind me asking
Could you tell me what's the size of the battery in name... I think that's why mine won't work

Ever get it working? Ours stopped working also. It'll only beep when you plug it in letting you know it's on.
Any fix for this? Mine does the same thing. Charger says it’s full charged & it won’t take off in the pool. I’ve tried multiple chargers as well.
