They glossed over it in the show, but in the manhua and LN they explained the loot boxes a bit more. The random loot boxes give Jinwoo what he's in need of or will be needing soon. The pen he got just before a nurse came in to get him to sign something and forgot her pen, and the bandages he got before someone got a papercut. The key he was given was so he could go to start his leveling journey because he was spending too much time in the hospital "recovering" when he should be out growing instead. Remember, he gets the Full Recovery from completing the daily quest. This heals him completely, so he should be going out to level up and not just wasting time repetitively doing his dailies.
You have to remember he's always been walking a thin line between life & death every time he entered a dungeon. His non panicked reactions is because he's used to it. P.S. it's not a game 😂
They forgot bro is the weakest hunter and could not kill one goblin in episode 1 and now he kills 3, he is leveling up and getting stronger like when u playing a game , its not a shonen where mc gets plot armour power up and becomes strong right away without puting in work( ichigo and naruto)
Fwiw, it wasn’t stated what his previous number was, nor was it ever claimed whether basic body durability was tied to rank. Either way, while he was on the lower end to begin with, it’s established here that most in his own bracket clears 7 times the number we see. Kind of implies that ‘qualifying’ to be a hunter should really be a bit more nuanced than “Yes” or “no” when tested.
It's nice that you noticed the purple haired guy's reaction to being suspicious. It's interesting that this is the way he's introduced to the story. When he comes up again, I'll remind you guys of this, if you don't notice.
Good guess about the guy with purple hair and how to use the system ;) Armor and equipment are very expensive, usually guild members have armor, weapons and accessories. Normal hunters invest in weapons. In this case of the Double Dungeon, the White Tigers were as quick as possible to try to save the people.
So I’ve read both the light novel and the manwah this is the episode where you can start to see the difference between the two. In the Manwah the first dungeon that Sung Jinwoo opens doesn’t have goblins in the light novel it does.
It's the higher ranked hunters that wear armor. The white tigers guys rushed into the dungeon so that's why they weren't wearing armor (one of them was tho) and besides, sideburns doesn't wear armor normally. Also, Joo Hee was the highest ranked in the double dungeon. The captain was a C rank and the others were d-rank and below.
The hospital scene: I think she turns back because she's disappointed in him. To her, he almost seems like a danger addict that she no longer wants to interact with. As for the clothing, all these people are low level. They don't make enough to get good gear. And that first dungeon was so low level that didn't need that level of armor.
"no spoils" - goes on to clarify something that didn't need clarifying. I swear some people don't even understand how to think outside their own realm of experience or knowledge

He did not get weaker. He just didn't get stronger immediately.

That’s just one difference I can say without a potential spoiler I’ll point it out in the next solo leveling vid just in cause.
There are no goblins in the instant dungeon in the ln
