I think if you have the desire to move to Japan and want to live here with a love and respect for their culture/way of life then go for it. I love being here and am treated with so much kindness everywhere I go and I make sure to do the same to everyone else. It’s an amazing country to live in which is why I have no desire to leave. Haha

Great video! A shop just opened in Chicago, one of VERY few in the country, that does tebori style. I’ve heard mixed reviews on pain but this is one of the few videos I found! This is gonna be my 6th tattoo so thank you for your input.

That’s awesome that you have one near by! I’m glad my video helped. I am working on a body suit in tebori now. It’s going to be a long process but I’m excited. I will be sure to post updates as I go. Next appointment is in April!

Thanks for the comment, his name is Horiiso and he is based in Okinawa near Kadena Airbase. You can find him easily if you go to google maps, look at Okinawa, Japan and type Japanese Traditional Tattooing. His shop pops up by the sea wall.

How can I find an artist in Osaka ?

I don’t know much about Osakas tattoo scene but it looks like you can find a guy named Horitada at Good Times Ink who does tebori. I would definitely contact them way in advance to book because he probably stays busy. Hope this helps!
