Oh gosh, I *LOVE* the Spanish version of this song! Like you said, it's for the emotion part, and the moment where his voice starts cracking hits me right in the honey nut feelios (I'm just a huge fan of this song in general, the BGM and lyrics are amazing as flip, and it's so beautiful no matter what the language)
In the Italian dub, they changed the songs with their italian ones. The change wasn't disturbing in the first season, despite some inconsistencies (When Karen sings for the first time, she sings Aurora Kaze ni Notte while in the Italian version, she sings Dolce Melodia). Everything has fallen in the second season. In this scene, instead of singing, the voice actors recitate it. And even the Italian songs were ruined in episode 61.
That Portuguese one is so hot!! Were you aware that they were really going to make an English dub? Yep back in 2004. They had toys and everthing. Heck I want one of those mics! Help spread the word that there was an English dub and we want it released! That might get it out to us (plus I really want a microphone XP)
@bambi7502 I can do Mermaid Melody too. I even did an AMV about a year ago. I never posted it up because it's suppose to be part of a 5-group AMV pack which I haven't finished yet.

i luv the portuguese and spanish most, they have amazing voices
I was like 0_o when the Hebrew version started. I was freaked out.
Megan Reed
Me too😂😂😂
It's very beautiful in Hebrew. I heard the song last 10 years ago and still remembered it.
I liked the Hebrew, Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese :)
Japanese and European Portuguese are the best!! Both sound really hot. ^-^
Mikel has girl voice
In Spanish his voice actor’s name is Fernando Cabrera and in the song is Miguel Antelo
As for me, I'm partial to the European Portuguese version. Also, this is one of my favorite songs from the whole show. ^^

@neofeliss
Not really. Instead of singing, he just said the words from some weird reason XD.
Japanese and Korean FTW!!! And I have just now realized that this has been dubbed in every language BUT English. (I think I want it done just to see.)
I liked the Hebrew and European Portuguese ones.
Serbian is perfect.
I agree , not just because I'm from Serbia
;3;
Me 2
do you do mermaid melody requests or just tokyo mew mew? because i love both!!
Chinese and Portuguese
In hebrew, Mikel is a boy
REMEMBER THAT
מייסי רפטר well in the original one he sounds feminine so probably the plan was him sounding that way not so masculine
@@leoram1116 In the original, Mikeru doesn't have a gender, like all angels.
@@Kirio_Dorito that makes it more interesting then :3 amazed with the lore this show had for its young targeting
French ? Serbian ?
haha Is my version (I'm European Portuguese xD)
@MewMewDorcha
me too lol
um wat is he singing?
European is my favorite. I think that the voice fit better than the original. He actually sounded like a guy then to. XD
The Japanese is still my favorite. The Hebrew and Portuguese one oh god. I am sorry.
1) Japanese
2) Chinese
3) Korean
Best :)
As a person from Portugal, I agree with you. The singer (male as well) just didn't have the range. The lyrics are interesting, though!
The hembrew one sounds like it was recorded with a phone😂😂
Rin the fennec fox I posted that comment on my old account and I agree so much XD
The taiwanese and korean are always good at dubbing the songs😌
As hebrew speaker I understand you
Hhaha I'm European Portuguese :)
is mikeru a girl or boy? i always thought he was a guy, but then all my friends thought he was a girl...
No boobs, so he is a boy!
ooo me likes the korean ^^
