- I'm busting 20 Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom myths and rumors in today's video. Questions you've always wondered like is it possible to crash the game by buying too many Zonai devices or is it possible to power your builds with banana power?
In this video, I'll take a look at a complete history of Zelda rumors. Our journey covering major rumors starts with The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64, and goes all the way to Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch. Can you see an Arwing in Ocarina of Time? If you give a dog some meat will he lead you to treasure in Breath of the Wild? Does the game The Legend Zelda Valley of the Flood exist? Let's just put it out there that the pinecone thing is not a myth, an NPC literally tells you all about it.
Yea this isn't the first time a mechanic the game teaches us has been called a myth. They really should try to be more careful about that.

Note, the rock octorock can only repair one piece of equipment per blood moon, after repairing, kill that octorock, so you don't forget and try it again.

…I also thought of the mirror realm because I’ve only played Link to the Past and not Link Between Worlds, though I watched a recap 🤷😁 the fact it’s lower and mirrors Hyrule is a SUPER intriguing connection to me I guess 😎
The last one didn't have anything to do with the banana, but for the love of bananas I'll allow it.
The game thinks it's still auto building the plank of wood + other item, so it moves as if it was part of the auto build menu relative to Link.

Yeah, most people use apples, seeing as how they're (probably) the most plentiful, yet useless item in the game. -There may be more Poes, but you can actually spend those, plus you can't actually build with them.-
@@Wendy_O._Koopa Apples are decently useful though for easy cheap hearts, you'll have a ton of them and can usually throw a few in a cooking pot.
The banana powered glitch seems like it would really help out when you're being chased by gloom hands
Pinecones are actually real flammable in real life. Campers actually burn them as kindling in canmp/ bonfires. Also the oil jar as same effect for obvious reasons

I would consider the pinecone or the 7am/7pm things to be myths, consider NPCs tell you about these directly. Some dude outside the newpaper office for the pinecone, and one of the stward constructs on the great sky island for the 7am/7pm thing, specifically the stward who has the paragliding/fire lighting side quest on the roof of the temple of time.

The Lightroot thing is really cool. I never realized they were in the same place as shrines and have the backwards version of their names.

I’m not a huge fan of the depths so I don’t really invest in it that much

4:16 It's similar for break-a-part shop, the guy'll say "We're open even when it's night" or something when it's nighttime, and "We're open in any weather" if it's bad weather. When you take a weapon apart when it's raining, he says "Sorry that it's being rained on. Better get it quick!" or something like that.
it's not only zonai device pods. You can only have 21 items out at a time, anything over will start despawning the older ones.

Why do the pinecone made a debut as as myth here? NPC in front of broken Rito village's bridge is hinting you to use it (or else you won't rwach the Rito village, at least early in the game).

You can use your bow after shield jumping with a wing too.
The “Game Over” text changing color based on what element you die to is also true in BotW.

You can jump attack with a rock fused weapon instead of dropping it and moving it. Just make sure your hit lands the rock on the spot
You can do "banana power" with any autobuild. The glitch is really called "ABCs" (for autobuild cancel slide) and if you use ascend instead, then you can fly. Some helpful tips!

The Changing game over text was also in botw if you havent notice XDDD, and if you went up at the top of the temple of time, you can get a side quest and there you get said the same thing for the quest XDDDD
The octorok weapon repair was a replacement to the rusty weapon upgrade in botw.
For the world's fastest elevator part I just thought about something that could be very very useful so if you've ever gone on to a dragon in collected one of its parts this is specifically for you what you can do is you can drop a board with a dragon scale on it down mark that location so then if you ever want to get back up to that sky island but you don't have the necessary things to do it or you don't want to have to put that much work into it you can go back cuz dragon scales don't disappear for over 2,000 units so as long as you're going to stay in that general area then you should be good to have an elevator that won't disappear for a long time

The sound of the fan also reminds me of super metroid when you use the xray scope.
curious, if you rock octo two weapons with the plus 10 modifier, then fuse them does the final weapon dmg increase further? eg. would fusing two +10 gloom swords net you with 102dmg or 92 dmg?
it doesn't increase the damage, it just gives a random modifier for that weapon.
ok so the spring shield works, but only if you have impact proof on the glide set and i tried it with bombs and it also kills you, unless you have a fairy in which it heals you and still give oyu air XD i wonder if that happens with the spring too
you do realize that if you were impact proof then wouldn't have taken fall damage anyway

Technically the game over text changing color depending on what you die to isn't new for tears of the kingdom. It's the same in breath of the wild as well.

The "banana power" Actually works by itself, without the banana. The glitch is used in speedruns, called "autobuild csncelling

The music for the shrines sounds the same as some of the music in "High on Life". I almost feel like they are but can not reproduce the effects. Might only be relative to a couple of notes.

And the swords cause a spark but they don't catch on fire because only the metal sword can cause a spark but only flammable thing can catch on fire, so not metals

The sound from sonic and the fans are similar, but not the same. sigh. The sonic sound starts with a wider deeper tone. The fan sound ends much windier too.

11:58 I am pretty sure that if you don't move the zonai orbs then they wont despawn and the orbs that are still in the machines stay loaded making the game crash. But I might be wrong.
