Thank you for introducing these wonderful creators... my first impressions are being with them and it's all working out! These arts are worth every penny
Hola my dear Henry! As always great information, amigo! And of course, Thanks a lot for the shout to our patreons. Your work is amazing and its wonderful to see your colors in our models! Keep the art flowing and lots of love, my dude!
I'm getting my elegoo saturn 2 soon. This video will get me up and running immediately. Its nice to come across this video. It will help me a lot in getting good models to print.
Thank you for showing some love for Vengeancestudios! It’s much appreciated Henry! Wait until punisher comes out in January, you are gonna flip your lid!
Hi, just a quick thank you for sharing all this lovely info. You never disappoint my friend, I especially loved the Christopher Reeves Superman you did. Any news on the Adam West batman yet?
I only have a FDM printer but want to print out some of the 1/4 scale figures I watch you paint. Is there any site that has good .stl files for FDM printers?
hi yeh ive been on thecg trader sight and they have a model of medusa from clash of the titans id love and cant contact anyone could you try to get the file and print the model off so i could see it and buy it from you if that possible@@TheCreativeCollector
With all the sales going on, I might want to invest in a resin printer. I see that most need to print chunks of the model. Can you point me at one that you would want prints from and paint? Thank you. Anycubic Photon Ultra for $289 seems like a deal
Love your vid. Thnx! Could you give some insight in how you organize your files, workflow, slicing etc? I seem to be overwhelmed with all of the patreons I am subscribed to. Everyone has a different system for downloading (Gumroad, Google Drive, Mega, etc) and I am lagging behind with downloading and saving everything.
I basically download everything into folders assigned to the certain patreon and just print what I want. When I get done printing a file, I then move it to another "completed" folder. That's how I keep track.
@@TheCreativeCollector thank you! On topic, I am a patron of Wicked, NomNom Figures, Fotis Mint, Luftmensch Studio, Hex3D, Inspir3d, Creative Geek MB and Flexifactory.
Yes, I'm feeling this as we speak. I'm signed up with Wicked, I immediately go for the Magneto, and there are like 10 different things available for download. How do you know which to choose? They're mostly very large files.
I joined Wicked 3D after watching this. I'm new to the entire process, and I'm confused as to what exactly I need to download. There are a bunch of options for each model. Which do you chooose?
@@TheCreativeCollector I appreciate the reply. That was my first thought, but some of these files are very large. Time to get an external HD just for the files.
Friend; Can you help this newbie? I got the Mephisto from Wicked and as it is too big to print on my printer and I wanted it as big as possible... I put all the pieces (all parts) of size 100 in the Chitubox and applied reduce to fit... they were all at 90% and they kept the supports (I'm still too new to configure solo)... if I print... will they fit? What do you think? Thank you very much
You can get rid of the pre supported file and use auto supports if you want. Or you can stick with the pre supported. Either way you should be good as long as everything fits on the build plate. You can also use Meshmixer to cut up the files further so that you can make the model bigger. It'll mean more pieces to print and fill in gaps and such, but you'll have a bigger model in the end.
@@TheCreativeCollector Thanks my friend for the advice; I'll try to follow in your footsteps... I decided to buy Mephisto to try to do it together with your video... the base came all crooked and big gap; but with the right height... it looks like someone divided a cheese into 4 parts with a knife, without much precision and ate the middle, which left me in doubt if I'm on the right path... I'll keep printing it like this and see how the others they stay... it gives me the impression that for each piece I print, I spend the same amount on supports.. madness
Hey there can somebody help me 😅 ive got some stl files wich should be digitaly painted but i would love to use them in blender but if i port them in they are without any texture
Much prefer the ones that just let you directly buy models. I don't have anything against paying a sub, if there are enough models that are worth it, but the Patreon ones make it so hard to actually see what they make, so it turns me off. Sanix is like the OG in my mind and I have a few of theirs.
First thx a lot for your effort and all your great tipps! For these sites though, I really don´t get all the subscription-plans for stls. Why are so many people paying every month for all these sites, without even having the choice of what waht to get? As a 3D-Artist myself I know, how important it is to support the creators! But am I the only one who prefers to buy a single model that he likes to see on the shelf instead of paying for a lot of patreons not knowing what I might get?! 🤔
I totally get that and so do a lot of other people. Most of these guys have their models for sale on gumroad or somewhere like cgtrader, but they charge more for them. You can just join their patreon for the one month and get the model you want for cheaper and cancel. I know that's not what creators want, but there are options if you don't want to subscribe month after month and not seeing anything you like.
As a newbie to both 3D printing and finding your site, I understand that these 3D sites require a monthly fee, but from what I can see, I am buying into something blindly. Meaning, I pay the, lets say $7 a month fee, but I have no idea if this person has anything I like. What I'm saying is that the sites that you have listed, doesn't give me much of an idea of what they have. So, that makes it hard to decide if 3D site "A" has anything of interest to me, compared to 3d site "B". I just wished that those sites, that you have listed, would show you some idea of what they have available; that way I know if I should commit to them or not.
Hey thanks for the feedback! Most of the patreons usually have previous model pics posted on there. They also usually have another social media site that shows them too. Worst case is message the patreon asking to see their work. If they refuse or just don't respond in a reasonable way then those I'd stay away from. Hope that helps
Apparently Doses3d patreon is closed but he does have a link to purchase files through his Gumroad account. Sorry for the confusion.

Yup - I second this

Can't wait my friend. I hope lots of people find their way to your site.
Your painting skills look great
Brilliant information, just what is needed. Thank you😎
Thanks a lot for the video, this is highly appreciated!!
keep it up 🚀
Great paint work
Thanks!
What brand of paint products do you use for your models
I use mainly Vallejo and Createx paints with some Citadel, but I've also been using some cheaper craft paints for bigger applications.
The wicked model's are insane:) love it
Hi, just a quick thank you for sharing all this lovely info. You never disappoint my friend, I especially loved the Christopher Reeves Superman you did. Any news on the Adam West batman yet?
I like some of Fotis Mints models.
Yes! They have some very cool models indeed.
Thanks
Thanks!
Do you know where we might find Jonny Quest ?
Or a little out there, but what about Carl Kolchak from The NightStalker tv show
Thanks
Not sure. I haven't seen any of those yet
This is amazing i would like to make Sculptures like this do you have a setting Tutorial for fdm
I don't at the moment but I'm looking into it.
You did a vid on a gold paint you got from Michael's. I dont remember the brand, what was it again please?
It's called Liquid Leaf.
DC -> B3dserk (my fav)
Marvel -> Wicked
Star Wars -> Star Wars 3D
Dragon Ball -> Lucas Perez
Anime -> MyAnimate
I only have a FDM printer but want to print out some of the 1/4 scale figures I watch you paint. Is there any site that has good .stl files for FDM printers?
The ones I've listed can be printed in FDM as well.
@@TheCreativeCollector Oh nice. I really like your channel. I would like to adopt you.
is there a websight that does 3d files for any ray harryhausen monster and creature models
Not that I know of. You can try cgtrader.com or cults3d

Have you ever done anything Lord of the Rings? Would love to see you tackle a Sauron.
I actually did Sauron several years ago but it might be time for an update.
@@TheCreativeCollector Ahh then perhaps maybe a Witch King :D
Wow love these! Do you sell them too / have an online store?
Thanks. Unfortunately no I don't at the moment
Which one of these have creative common commercial use license?
Strictly fan art
@@TheCreativeCollector would you know of any places that do have commercial use stl?
Your big companies like Sideshow, XM, Prime1, etc
Are these prints on resin printers or can it be done on filament printers?
Resin but they can be done on FDM printers but the details won't be the same.
do the wicked files come pre supported?
Yes
Where can i find a good deathstroke model?
Check cgtrader or Wicked has one at their B3dserk patreon
vx-labs black widow was the one that got me in to your videos surprised its not on here
Thanks. IT would be but Megha doesnt have a patreon at the moment.
also wuld love to see you do the motoko from ghost in the shell
Are all these models resin printed or can you get the same print quality from a 3D printer.
They're pretty much all resin printed. You can't get these details from a FDM printer if that's what you're asking.
That's what I was asking, thank you.
Could you make models like these on an anycubix Photon X?
Yes. I have 2 of those machines that I print with regularly
Thanks for the Video. Does anyone know where to find..... WWII...... files?
Thanks in advance. K
Not sure

Check out the Elegoo Saturn and Anycubic Photon Mono X. Those are a couple of good ones and wont break the bank.
@@TheCreativeCollector Will do. Might wait until after xmas for the sales. Thank you sir.
what printer did you print these models?
Oh man! I think I used my Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K, Linant Base and Deck, Uniformation GK2 and Anycubic Photon mono X

Lots of Facebook groups!
@@TheCreativeCollector ug. Yeah I absolutely refuse to use FB
I've been wondering for some time, how do they handle the various licenseing for these things? Just for my own knowledge
That's something you'd have to ask them.
Can you print this size on a 10.1 build plate
1/4 scale? Yes. You might have to slice some pieces in Meshmixer but I've printed on smaller build plates.
Do any of them do commission or request?
I'm not sure. You'd have to ask them directly.
I joined Wicked 3D after watching this. I'm new to the entire process, and I'm confused as to what exactly I need to download. There are a bunch of options for each model. Which do you chooose?
