Diving in Moalboal, Philippines 🇵🇭

Moalboal in Cebu, Philippines is most well known for snorkelling or diving to see the famous sardine run at Panagsama Beach. Although you can see the sardines (and other marine life!) if you snorkel, we found that diving was a better option as you can swim amongst and underneath the sardines instead of just seeing them from the surface.
The dive was absolutely beautiful as there is a stunning reef drop just meters from the shore and even though the visibility wasn’t that great on the day we did the dive, we still saw thousands of sardines and a few nudibranch and sea snakes.
Diving in Moalboal is also pretty budget friendly and we were really impressed with the dive centre we chose for friendliness, cost and safety.
Moalboal is a great place to travel too as there are so many options for accommodation, coffee shops and restaurants. We loved it!
