As true lovers of outdoor experiences, we were overjoyed to hear that the Philippines offers some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving sites in the entire world. Between the warm tropical waters and the abundance in marine life, we knew we had to give diving a try in the Philippines. Moalboal is a laid-back, coastal town on the island of Cebu, famous for its sardine run phenomenon, where you can see millions of sardines swimming in schools just a couple of feet from the shoreline. OMG! You are in the island of Cebu where I grew up. Now that I’m living in the US, only get to visit there once in a while. I’ve never experienced scuba diving with the sardines run. But did see them while dipping upshore surrounding us. It’s just a normal sight. But seeing your video with them down below is a different experience in itself. I wish I’ll get a chance to experience that in the near future. Enjoy my country of birth and it’s people. They might not have the material things that America has but they/we are the most welcoming, friendly and warmest host ever. They/We treat our guests as family.
What an absolutely special island to grow up on. 💖 You’re so right- there aren’t many material things, but what the people on the island have is so much greater. They have big hearts, delicious food, and joyful souls, and to witness that was beyond anything we could ever seek while traveling the world. Oh gosh...the underworld seascape is beyond words..its beauty is indescribable....and the creatures living there...I need my one thousand sardines as pets! This was some serious camera work capturing the flowers, the creatures, the movements...you are now at the level of pro! Onward and upward!

Hey! Remember me? Chad or Claire, whoever it is. I am so glad you went to Jollibee. The place I asked you to go a few years ago. And if you didn't know the foods names you had, here they are:
1. *Chickenjoy* is the fried chicken which you dip in the gravy and eat it. I think it's MASARAP! (delicious in tagalog)
2. *Jolly Spaghetti* is the sweet-sarap spaghetti with ham, ground meat, and hot dogs. I don't like it, but my mother and Mommy Cherie does.
3. *Burger Steak* is the beefy, saucy, langhap sarap meal. It basically is just a Salsbury steak, but the Filipino way. It's a beef burger batty with mushroom gravy on it, served with rice. Now I basically don't like that thing, bc it tatses like a Swedish meatball.

YES!!! We FINALLY made it to Jollibee! 🥳😋 Thank you so much for writing out everything we ate- super helpful, especially for other viewers! We forgot to say it on camera but the gravy was our favorite thing about the whole meal! So tasty! 🤭 The spaghetti was definitely interesting, but for any sweet tooth, I’m sure it’s heaven hahaha 😂
The thing with Pinoy spaghetti, it's exactly that....Pinoy. we never claimed that it's like Italian version. Our version came out of scarcity and ingenuity. Love that you've opted for the scuba diving. Cheers and have fun

What a great underwater scenery, Sardine run a very rare phenomenon, seen only in South Africa but seasonal, but in Moal Boal and Napaling Reef in Bohol Philippines almost everyday just the near the shore.

we were there for 5 days late Feb and went free diving everyday. We loved it! Seen the dive shops everytime as well and never even thought we should probably go diving until I seen your video. lol we'll be back next year and after watching your video we'll try diving as well. Jollibee have breakfast meals that's the better option rather than having spaghetti coz for most western pallette Jollibee spaghetti was made differently than the usual western taste preference.
You forgot to snorkel and swim with the turtles on that area.
