I would be putting it into these modes on the fly and not doing 2 at once or you risk it not going into 4wd for a while. The first 4wd mode can be used on asphalt so go to that first and let it go in (when light stops flashing) and then into locked 4wd once you hit the softer stuff. On the sand stick in in sand mode and it will hold the revs at around 2300 which is peak torque. Obviously no locked 4wd on asphalt. Sometimes when they are new they can take a while to actually engage so if you just drive onto the soft stuff and it's not engaged you risk burying it. They are actually quite capable in high 4 unlocked centre diff (AWD) as well. I've had one of these things for a few years now and have done a bit of various 4wd stuff in it.
@@Will-nb8qk I don't have problems getting in, and mines lifted, as I can stand on the step with my right food, hold handle with right hand and sort of launch myself into it. Getting out.......not so elegant and my Mrs sort of falls out of it. I tried the same technique in my brothers Pajero and caught my shin on a bracket under the dash. Took months to heal.
@@UKRedSnow i put a deposit down on one then had a last minute test drive of a landcruiser .. and went for the landcruiser!! Things that put me off the shogun was cramped driver position and the gear changes were very jolty and obvious!! Plus mitsubishi have left the EU market
So it has been a few months now that you purchased the new Pajero Sport. Is there anything that has arisen during tour test drives on the sand with the new Super select system? And would you recommend to buy the New 2022 QF Pajero Sport GSR
