Great tutorial. Was looking for tutorials beyond the standard builds that look like every agency build (Hero image, card -blurb section next, testimonial etc)
Thank you very much! That was indeed my idea. I personally never build such websites for my clients like you describe, and yet they are the most populair on TH-cam… maybe it’s because the most populair TH-cam’s don’t have real clients 🤷? I don’t know 😃 Time for change! Have a awesome day!!
That's what I like most.... This is probably the lease "Divi" divi website I've seen as examples... Considering the endless possibilities I don't know why they're all so cookie-cutter.
Bro I said it before but this is gold man. 3 hour full tutorial that shows literally EVERYTHING how to build a premium website. This will save many people a lot of time and 💰
Always a pleasure 25! Thanks again for your great words and for taking some time out of your day to write me. Let me know if you get stuck somewhere, so I can help you get going again. Have a awesome day!
This is a very thorough and also shows good foundational practices and helpful for newbies like me to develop good habits in building websites from scratch. I'm also glad you highlight some of the more obscure but powerful features that are missing in most basic WP tutorials. Thank you WPress Doctor! :) Look forward to more Divi tutorials and tips.
You are very welcome! It made my day to read your comment! Thank you for taking some time out of you day to write me. Your like and subscribe would be very helpful if you haven’t already done so. Social share of the video would also be highly appreciated!
Hi Marco, thank you for the kind words! I have bought a lot of plugins but for Divi I use 1 the most because Divi has build everything inside 👍🏻😀 : th-cam.com/video/klwIq-wPxMg/w-d-xo.html
Thank you very much! If you get stuck, please leave a comment here and I will help you work it out. If possible, go back and like and subscribe to the video. Video shares are helpful as well
Excellent tutorial, one of the most comprehensive tutorials that I have ever come across for DIVI. I have a question, I designed a website using DIVI and it looks great on a laptop, ipad and mobile devices, however when I view the website on a smart tv the fonts aren't looking great at all. Do you think this could be an issue with the font itself or is DIVI not optimized for smart tv's? Any possible solution?
Hi Dank, thank you for the kind words! I don’t think It has to do with Divi because it’s just a matter of different sizes. It is because of the fonts. Some TV’s have trouble with certain fonts. Like TTF or OTF could make a difference. Are you using Google fonts?
@@WPressDoctor You are welcome and thank you for your prompt response. The font that is overlapping on my smart TV is called 'Rubik' , the balance of the website displays excellent it's just text with this font and most of the text with this font are header text. I'm not sure what are 'TTF' & 'OTF' maybe you can advise? I am also fairly new to Divi as I have started using it from the end of 2021. What are your thoughts?
Hello @WPress Doctor, I know it's been almost a year since this post, but I have revisited this tutorial to refresh and have a question... when or how do you decide whether to place image as a module, or in a column (inside rows) ? Divi has so many options to do one thing I find myself placing certain texts or color or image in different areas across pages.
Hi Janette! It really depends on what you want. If you want to do things with the image like transforming or effects, you need a image module. If you want to put text over the image and use it as a background, you should use background on rows, sections or even text modules 😀 Hope that helps?
At 51:03 after activating child theme (coming soon) you say to look under Appearance/Theme Editor (which should be underneath the "Background" option, but there is no "Theme Editor" option available? It probably has to do with a new update but I'm a bit at a loss how to proceed. You made a cut in your video at 51:02 and something seems to be missing that allows the "Theme Editor" option...
have you made, or can you make a video on how to hand off a created website to a client? all the things to be sure to do, what does the client need to do? do they download divi or how do they access the divi builder to make changes? or do they have to do it from wordpress? lots of questions.
Hey Amazing performance…. The best of your videos i loved 🥰. Now we have 20 22 I would be so happy when you can do it again… I want learn more building websites with the best divi theme….. Best regards from Germany Heiko
PROBLEM SOLVED BY THE DOCTOR I've rebuilt the header 3 times and tried everything I thought would work, but no matter what everything sticks to the top and both menus remain visible? Ideas? Looking closer at the header code you've provided it does not match what you have in the video at all, and the code you've provided with the snippets folder has references different classes. It really looks like maybe the wrong code got put in there maybe? ...
@@WPressDoctor thank you doctor, that fixed what ails me... indeed I had forgotten about the sticky button option. that is much easier and cleaner. thank you. i realized that even if you didn't reply, i need to figure it out anyway because i'm always going to have to figure out problems... Again thank you for your tutorials, you've really let me see outside the Divi box while using Divi (which I do love, even though I'm really new) ...
Ah thanks for coming back to me! I’m glad it was helpful. Yes this is the best method and I always use it 😀👍🏻 I’m glad I can be of help in your Divi journey! Keep up the good work and I wish you a awesome day!
Hey, Doc, really helpful video! I have a question: Is it possible to tweak the code for the "coming soon" page to work without a child theme and if yes, where should I insert the tweaked code?
Hi there! Thank you very much! Yes that is possible but I would not recommend it. You could use a plugin OR insert the code in your main theme, however, with every update you would lose your code 😕
Hahaha, you are welcome 😊 Your like and subscribe would be very helpful if you haven’t already done so. Social share of the video would also be highly appreciated!
That is a good idea! For me it was really simple; create some awesome websites for people in your network - over deliver to them and give them a big fee ($100) when they bring you a new client 😀👍🏻 Also, never say no to new clients (in the beginning) and even build for free to create your portfolio. 😎

Hi there and thank you for your comment. Really appreciate it! 🥹 I’m glad the video helped you out! Any short and easy method to “read more” 🧐 Help me out here, what do you mean?
@@WPressDoctor Thanks for taking the time to reply. For example if I want to condense ten lines of text into three, then put Read more.... the text is condensed to save space. The rest of the text is hidden until the reader wants to reveal it to read further. I hope it makes sense.
