    I am 52 and I have watched football my whole life and I’ve learned a lot for watching this video. This is tremendous…. I love how Colton McCoy used the word multiple times when he describes shades stings playcalling…. I am an Eagles fan and watching him as our office coordinator. I felt he had a great field for the game and timing with many of his play calls…. Thank you so much.

      Saw Philly alot last year and knew Steichen was good. Not surprised at all with my Colts offense. Scoring like this with no real deep threat and Taylor's barely played. Best TE was Jelani Woods and he's on IR. It's been amazing. Oline has been solid and Minshew shakes off his stream of turnovers as well. Example earlier this year. Watching with my Dad and said we don't have any real threats on the field except Taylor when we were looking sluggish. About 2 plays later Steichen sends everyone deep and sends Taylor wide and then brings him across on a drag route vs a LB. Got us about 30-35 yards. He's got a great feel. Only criticism is clock management. Why is this a Colts issue year after year?

    The Colts are lucky to find a coach like him. Before he was an offensive coach he was force to learn the defense scheme. He knows the defense tendencies and made the correct adjustments on offense. The colts are a WR away from being a elite team as long as Richardson learn how to throw short and medium pass and read the defense

    Minshew’s greatest weakness is not going through his reads. He goes to the primary most all the time. There are a lot of times he doesn’t target the open receiver, TE or RB. But He’s winning and a W is a W no matter. GO COLTS

  • @popeye3305
    @popeye3305 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Shane is a offensive play calling guru. But his adjustment and adaption to what personel he has to work with has been quite remarkable. I thought I would see a lot of Philly RPO with AR but he shifted quickly to more of his old charger scheme type offense after Richardson was out for the season. Definitely in the running for Coach of the Year at this point. IMO.

    This already being the second scheme on Steichen and the Colts, really makes me wonder what possibly could have gone wrong in the first interview for the Panthers to not want to bring him in for a second interview.. they are so terrible 😂

    • @HamburgerHelperDeath
      @HamburgerHelperDeath 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Carolina also viewed Reich as a QB whisper my guess because he use to be a QB…he originally worked with Wentz when he did well in Philly and also Luck’s last year, Andrew had 39 TD’s and was only second to Mahomes 50 TD’s on the season.

      @@zac4249 He had a virtual interview during the playoffs and all I ever saw was it didn't go well so he was removed from the running. Obviously don't know his order, but the Panthers job was perceived to the best of the vacant positions last year.

      @SplitSauce2289 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@HamburgerHelperDeathSteichan is also viewed as a QB whisperer. He was a QB coach before OC. He developed Hurts and Herbert. Whatever the reason, I'm stoked the Colts hired him. When the Colts were doing all their interviews it really was like, okay guys, just hire Steichan already.

    I love Minshew. He has made me a lot of money. His passing props are almost always to low. I would have hit huge last week but I took Downs instead of Pierce. I hit a couple 10x because I did Miss under along with Minshew/pittman overs along with a tacos

    What else I find interesting, is all three of those big plays were directly following a defensive penalty, playing into the psych of the defense.

  • @LarSherv
    @LarSherv 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Traded Pittman for Mixon and dropped Minshew after Taylor returned and it looked like the gameplan was shifting to a more run heavy approach. Kicking myself a bit as I think this version of the Colts offense can score with any team in the league. Have some Downs shares still and my fingers are crossed that he sees more involvement! Love this offense under Steichen and love the breakdown. Great job as always!👍

    • @SouthBayTri74
      @SouthBayTri74 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did something similar and he got snatched up. I was a pure homer on Downs and drafted him in a late round. I pick him in my DFS on the weekends for a cheap guy, but I can't find the courage to play him, or to drop him in any of my leagues.

  • @rgwebb5165
    @rgwebb5165 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Minshew is flawed no doubt. But it made all the sense in world that Steichen would bring him with him from Philly. Those two are the difference from last year to this year. From having the 4th pick to currently the 6th seed. Irsay was wise to wait on him. He got the right coach. Now AR has to stay healthy. If he does, him and Steichen will make a formidable combination.
