Another topic would be what to do when you see someone with a white cane in person or crossing the street.. there is a huge spectrum of people who are usually impaired and blind. The technology is amazing and what I can use on my iPad and my phone..
We live in Louisiana and are both visually paired legally blind… How would we go about contacting the company to get this… Both my husband and I are legally blind and this would make our lives so much easier. What sucks though is that technology although making leaps and bounds since I was a child is still very expensive. I don’t understand why companies think that I can charge astronomical amounts of money to the “general public“ I don’t know anyone I could afford this… But, it saves to be a great piece of technology…
I suppose things are expensive when the market is small. things would be cheaper if enough people need this with mass production. Tesla has has a good reach to the general public and I thought if they can build a similar device based off their "smart" cameras.

This technology has not improved at all. It seems I’m using an app called Seeing AI sometimes and it’s gonna take you and Alice pictures read texted her last caller see if there’s any lights on etc. etc. very good but I want to see it improve further there are loads of blind people in the world, so yeah, get on it large companies.
It works if you have the money for it. Because I am on SSI and NOT a veteran, this device is far out of my price range.

I would imagine this would be tremendously helpful outside to assist crossing streets and things that might be nerve wracking and affect independence.
