I'm actually building a small trailer to pull behind my bike, and I'm glad I found your video because I want to include a solar system (or maybe just add a sprocket to one of my trailer rims to charge my batteries as it's being pulled) for my power tools so it gave me a few ideas. Did you buy your trike,or did you buy the axle adapter and put it on an existing bike? I had a 20" Schwinn (when I was BMXing) that had the same frame design. I found some decently priced trikes online, but I think I'm going go with one of the 4 wheeled Rhode's bikes, or build one (because they are way over priced,in my opinion). I built an Asian cargo trike (2 wheels on the front) a few years ago but only after I built it did I realize that it wasn't what I needed.

First, there is nothing wrong with spokes but you have found out what us serious haulers have found out. So after walking that thing home for miles I bought a heavier duty wheel to avoid it ever happening again. BTW I didn't see what size wheels are on the rear of the trike. 26ers are the strongest. I bought 26ers with 11 gauge spokes from bikeman4u.com which doesn't even exist anymore. Anyway, thicker spokes is the solution. I'm looking for some clues as to how to build a trike as I was given a free frame by a bike shop owner but I'm not sure what I need to buy to make it work. It's a nice frame, it has a diamond steel plate for a rear bottom. I'm also looking to build a trailer for my Ebike. I have customized it by using T bolts to bolt on a rear cooler because it's wider than normal sized cargo racks so neither they nor reg dual baskets would fit. Two folding Wald 582 baskets allow me to carry 30-45 items on a regular basis. I have no car. I'm all about the bike culture and have not burned a gallon of gas in almost 20 years.

That bike is long gone 😁
Nice trailer. I am looking to build something myself over the summer. What is the company you got those wheels from? I am having trouble sourcing heavy duty wheels.
Altered Exposure Image Design look for horse cart tires www.kingston-saddlery.com/ here's where I got mine from
What kind of fork did you use for this had the same issue
This is hella cool. How long does the stereo last on that battery?
Orlando Perrone about 5 to 8 hours
try running the stereo off a motorbike battery they are much lighter
jye anderson there is to much running on it (alarm stereo amplifier leds running lights brake light compressor air horns ) it would kill a motorcycle battery very quickly
What is the name of the tires you used on your trailer and what's the load capacity, Thanks!
Janessa Aisling I got them from Kingston saddle Supply I believe their load capacity is 275 each
Thanks
