McDonald's is lucky to have employees like these. Consistency at it's finest. I support paying people for the hard work they do. If you work this full time, you should be able to earn a living wage.
What I love about these video's isn't the process or the hard work it takes to make the food. It's that regardless of the job they are doing they are still working hard. We've all seen people on tougher jobs than this drag their feet and not care but, these video's prove you can earn respect and success regardless of what you do as long as you are willing and have a goal.
I worked at McD in the early 90s. We didn't yet have the trays of precooked meat, and we would slide a reasonable number of premade sandwiches down a chute between the grill area and the register area. These would be wasted after 10 minutes under the heat lamp. We mostly made regs 12 at a time. Someone (usually a manager) would look at the chute and say "cheese on 8" or whatever to keep the hamburger/cheeseburger ratio about what was expected to be ordered (generally 2 cheeseburgers for every hamburger). Anyway the point of this comment is that we had a tray of some sort (I don't remember exactly what it looked like) that was useful for making them 12 at a time, which would have made this large order an easier process than 5-ish at a time like you're doing in this video. The toaster also handled 12 buns at a time. You would lay out 12 crowns, then 12 shots of mustard, then 12 shots of ketchup etc. The patties were made at the same time and pulled off the grill to go straight on the crowns. Lastly, if anyone's still reading - I have been looking for a pancake batter dispenser like the one we used back then (still do maybe? I wouldn't know). It had a rubber or silicone plunger in it that dispensed the exact amount of batter each press. If you know where I can get one for a reasonable price, please let me know with a reply! I saw one once at a restaurant supply store that was more than $125, I just want it for home use and would be willing to pay $35 or so

@@cooldude2251 there always is at the bottom of the totem. If not you would never improve
@@cooldude2251 What a weird thing to say. As if a cook at a fast food joint is something to be proud of as a career (emphasis on CAREER). This cat strikes me as a manager or someone in a leadership role. After looking, he is the owner/operator which IS something to be proud of especially if he rose through the ranks. The point is people should always strive for betterment.
@@dusty6570 yeah he's wearing white shoes that are probably not non slip and blue jeans 😂 still good at what he's doing so that's a step up from the last two owners of my store. They didn't know how to do anything on the floor, wouldn't pay for any fixes, and came in only for a cappuccino every few months.
Dude was only putting one pickle per burger
This is actually making me want a maccys burger.
Order them without gurkins and they make them fresh, or if you like gurkins, order it without ketchup and then just add it.
the fresh ones taste a good 30% better than those that have been out for more than 10-15 mins.
the amount of pickles is amazing
2:46 how did you aim that pickle slice so confidently and perfectly???
dude perfect
I cant believe bro spent $105 in one order at McDonald’s 💀
this guy is a machine
My job did that once and we brought back like 5 full McDonald's bags.
5 years of memories coming back to me right now! I can’t even imagine how many sandwiches I made while working here! Never got tired of eating the food even when people told me I would get sick of it 😂😂😂😂😂
Is putting onions in the regular patty trays a new thing?
noticed that too!
7:33 pickle shot
Hell I love the Double cheeze burger for an afternoon snack !!
I love hearing him fold those papers
I'd love to see an interview with the woman working with you on this order, See her in the background all the time. Be cool to know her story, why she works there, how long, what she loves about it, hates about it, etc.
thats how teamwork should look like!!!
Yum☺
