this has been a g h e t t o start to winter. burnout is real and i got got. sprinkle in the cold, lack of energy, a sneeze worth of motivation on top of life in general and you've got the smoothest transition into potato mode. not even loaded potato. I'm talking basic azz salt and pepper potato mode. zero routine. lots of tv watching. i read books (lisa jewell anybody?). eating but not cooking, washing but hardly folding lol, up just in time to work (bc my brain has been FRYING) ya know the usual side effects of the slumpalumps when you've been doing the most for too many days in a row.
and then I woke up this day and decided it was time to do things again and turn on the dang camera and say hi :)
finally took down the tree (it was starting to give clutter) and I nearly built the entire day around making bread for a sandwich. what a fun time. oh and I also cleaned my oven...?
anyway if you're slumping/hibernating for whatever reason (winter, life, work, general stress etc.) take note of how long you've been doing so then decide if it's time to choose "up and out". if you need more rest - then rest. if the couch cushion is shaped like your butt - it's time to get up girl (respectfully).
i'm rooting for you miss ma'am! ❤️
