Happy anniversary ❤ my summer was great so far, enjoying time off with my husband, children and grandchildren. I don't like the heat, prefer winter, but like to be outside (in the shade). But winters in the Netherlands aren't very cold. Thank you for sharing things from your life🫶🏼

Eloping is the BEST. We had an extremely small courthouse wedding, but even then, I feel like it would have been so much simpler to elope. Ceremony was 5min anyway 😂 and in the end, we all sign the same papers! Congratulations on your 10 year anniversary, I'm wishing you guys many many many more decades together!

Currently I’m in Greece and it’s sooo warm here but I’m loving it. Congratulations to you and your husband for your 10 years together, my husband also celebrated 10 years together in June. Chicago is also brutally cold in winter, but yes, the summers here absolutely help make up for that! Every corner of the city will have music, shows, food festivals, markets, and random activities all season. I think of cook outs and barbecues as being interchangeable, but to me a cook out is a more family-oriented get-together and a barbecue is maybe a bigger event. When you talked about circus culture it immediately reminded me of one of my former students, whose family traveled with the circus. They were a very eclectic and artistic family and the girl I taught was my best art student!
I visited Chicago 2 summers ago and loved it, I can't wait to go back one day. And I did see festivals while I was there, how fantastic! That's so interesting to hear about your former student, how fun 🧡

Hi Ally, Happy belated 1/2 Birthday! How extra and clever! I’ve never heard that before. I did stay vacation this summer. Lots of walking and hanging out with our three dogs. Summer is so short in Toronto and has been so HOT too!! Happy Anniversary to u and Dave. I suffer from anxiety so I don’t like big crowds so eloping and later having a beautiful dinner with good friends and family is the way to go. For me eloping was the best but I can see the merits in having a wedding 🤎 Chosen family is fantastic and I am very lucky to have one. Montreal is a fantastic place to visit in the summer because of all its festivals and fall is gorgeous too because you get to experience all the wonderful fall colours. 🤎🤎🤎

And congratulations again for your anniversary ❤ I really like this look and I actually have been using an eyeliner from Tom Ford a lot to create the flick because as you said it does give a good vibe to the eyes look without packing them too much. We are having a really hot and humid summer here in northern Italy, but I am really loving it. me and my fiancé have been going to the beach, to the mountains and out and about to music fests and eating at summer festivals that are called “sagra”. We’re planning on going to Austria and Croatia next week since they are just a couple of hours away. I really love the Dior bronzer duo however it’s not out in Italy yet. Hi Alli! So a barbecue usually involves grilling meat, fowl,or fish in an open air pit or outdoor grill, and using barbecue sauce for spicing. A cookout can be any kind of outdoor picnic - I think of hamburgers and hotdogs on a grill, with deviled eggs , baked beans, fresh fruit. At least that’s what you’d expect in US. Anyway, I need to pick up a few more of the VB eyeliner sticks. Easy to use. Love the Chanel Water Fresh Teint. Happy Belated Birthday! Nice to have a surprise party 😎. Beautiful look today!

I love Sisley lipsticks. I did try their Pyto Kohl Star eye pencil however I much prefer the Chantecaille Luster Glides. Sisley blushes are beautiful. I am so fair that I look better without blush. Bronzer is ridiculous on me as I have no sun on my skin what so ever. Sisley and Chantecialle are the lines I purchase from the most. They both have exceptional beauty and quality.
That’s fantastic! I really love the Sisley lipsticks too, they’re so pigmented. I love Chantecaille skincare. I keep repurchasing their exfoliating mask, I’ve been repurchasing it since 2019.
I love hearing about Canada, I've never traveled there so hearing about your city events, etc. is interesting! The only thing I know about Canada are the incredibly talented musicians ie; Aldo Nova, April Wine, Neil Young, etc. Love this look and the entire Dior Collection! I’m Canadian too! But now living in Australia so it’s winter here! Do you have any idea why the VB kajal eye pencil keeps smearing on me by mid day even after powdering? I notice some conflicting reviews online too, some say it definitely doesn’t budge, others say it does. I have two of them and they smear on me. :(
