- The 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evolution is now available as a reward for completing 50% of the Autumn Festive Playlist! It is probably the best X-class car and a top tier S2-Class car, in par with other track monsters such as the F40C, F50 GT and FXX. Powered by it's original engine producing 928HP and 613ft-lb of torque. Showcasing it's performance in several Solo Ranked Races. Tune is available in my storefront.

Ferrari 599XX Evolution S2-Class performance review:
Do note that there is a power/acceleration bias build by Nalak28 involving the Hybrid V12 swap whereas mine is a more handling focused build.
There is a lot of hype regarding the 599XX Evolution being the meta and OP for S2-Class. It is only for Colossus. It is still relatively balanced among the other Extreme Track Toy cars from Ferrari/Pagani for the rest of the tracks. As you can see in the comparison, the FXX has overall better acceleration and the 599XX Evo has better handling. It's pretty similar to the F40C handling wise.
But the biggest thing which makes the 599XX Evo The Colossus King is it's top end and top speed. It has the same top speed as the Pagani Zonda Cinque/Venom GT but without the high speed understeer.
Another note, this car and build is for DRY only. Like the other extreme track toy cars, it has wet penalty. Unless you go for rally tires. Overall the 599XX Evo is a strong car for S2-Class. But is it OP as everyone speculated? For X-class yes, but for S2-Class no.

The Evoluzione was amazing in FH1 for all rounded races, and was on par with the Zonda R. The only cars that beat it in this area were the Joss and Zonda C
The F50 GT was the absolute King in FH1... Sadly the 599XX was pretty terrible though

It was, the only car that could beat it in corners was the Radical. The original 599XX was pretty shit but a decent R2 car. The 599XX E was amazing though
Looking at the side by side, the fxx has faster acceleration out of corners but the 599 caries more speed through the corners. 👍🏾
I think it depends on the setup.
There is another setup by Nalak28 that has much more acceleration but with a bit of understeer.

The Centenario is good but not the best. For speed events The CC8S is better. Even in FH3 the Centenario was beaten by the Huayra BC and Zonda C

Right! I was thinking the exact same thing. I had to watch it twice just to be sure haha. Im pretty sure he missed a checkpoint himself on the side by side comparison in the FXX. I dont get it, if i did that on xbox I'd of missed the checkpoint for sure lol.

Jolted Cosmos that was my point. The fxx k fully upgraded has a less than competitive top-speed. Even if you could tune the car to maximum potential, the top-speed still barley reaches 220 mph. Trust me, I’ve tried.

You've mentioned the wet penalty before but I've never seen information about it anywhere else. What exactly does it do to car performance?
All the cars under the Extreme Track Toys category take a significant penalty to the grip in wet conditions. In other words, you take less speed through the corners, your braking distance is longer and you have way more wheelspin out of slower corners. It's mainly due to the fact those cars are using different type of race tire. Think of the race tires you put on all other cars as semi slicks and the ETT race tires being slicks. They have a much higher operating temperature and have no treads to disipate the water, therefore they struggle to grip in wet and cold conditions.
While this applies to all cars in general, only the ETT's suffer from it to a point where they are few seconds slower, whereas most cars will be few tenths slower and some very rare cases can actually be faster in wet conditions. But all ETT's will always be slower in wet conditions... unless you slap rally tires on them, which negates that issue.
Looking at comparison race, the FXX is about 5% better. But I like the 599 more, the FXX is not even a car, more like formula 1 dressed up like a car
From what I gathered at the comparison race, it seems that FXX is better Sprint car, it accelerates faster on the straights and only suffered from top end at the really long end straight, but 599 could easily be better Circuit car, seemed to take the turns at a lot higher speed
@@HeXGaruDo aggre, in this race FXX has a little advantage, but in some other track-race, things could turn in 599 favore very easy.
The craziest thing about this car is that it has strong high end downforce and yet, still accelerates well past the 220mph mark.
Meanwhile FXX K dies at 210mph because Forza says so, lul.

Handling only for tight speed zones the ktm has about 3GS of grip.

What gpu you got?? Only 50% load is impressive. I have a 2060 super and i play it at 1440p extreme settings 60fps and my gpu sits around 70-80% load.

You didnt do a lap time in the Centenario. It should be better than the Veneno from what I have seen.

tried to play some races for first time this year, 11 times in a row were dirt/offroad,
12th time was street, just one race then back to offroad,
took me 30 min just to do only 1 race of street then gave up playing
That's unfortunate, but not uncommon. I am on a lucky streak getting alot of Street and Road lately. Hope you get your lucky-streak too.
It might depend on the day. Sundays and mondays in fh3 almost everything is street/asphalt. The rest of the week seems to be mainly dirt.
When you select a car, is there a difference when using the right joystick on xbox between example, Ford vs. Off Road? There's always two choices for each car at the select screen.

Shift 500rpm before the limiter, lost like 7-10 seconds on your time
Telemetry of the engine power band says otherwise. This engine produces most of it's power at the very top of the RPM. So I would be losing 7-10 seconds if I shift 500rpm earlier.

Do I have to play online stuff to unlock it? I'm playing solo only.
There are enough things to do to unlock it without playing with ither people though you need an Internet connection to update the game and get the car in the first place.
But you just confirmed that the Ferrari FXX is the speed king not the 599XX?
What would people recommend for a wet weather S2 car, and which tune?
Well I like the Centenario but mostly because I rarely swap RWD cars to AWD so I cant say I have tested many cars. Otherwise you can try out the 918 but I cant recommend you a tuning since I tuned them myself.
