    Sir at 19:05 y did u use only diffusion current density.? There is forward bias applied so there should be drift current also na...? Could you please clarify..

    Awesome lecture. Really! I tried deriving it myself but missed a step where you have to take the ratio of the two separate law of junction equations. This video helped me a lot.

    Sir ,when i bias the diode in reverse manner ,what is the i/reverse saturation current from diode current eqn.Is it +ve or -ve?? . If so y??

    To derive current equation of diode you considered only diffusion concept. Why drift effect is not considered ????

    Sir, I have a doubt. Does reverse saturation current exist in forward bias condition? Am I missing any point to understand this?

      Yup..reverse saturation current is always present in any biased condition as it depends on temperature..so no change
