There are many quotes of 185hp from other people with just the carb conversion but for me it is not just the carb but also a high lift cam, ported intake manifold and head, recut valve seat angles and valves (3 angle not "exotic" 5 angle). I have done the dyno thing for many years and am familiar with optimistic claims, it is hard for me to believe 35hp gain from just the carb so with everything I have done I expect I will see the 185hp. @@timms5905 Hey, no not yet. Apologies. Last spring I installed a wideband to tune it but I have had two other cars jump in the cue and the Alpine has been put on hold. I also converted it from a 4160 to 4150. So far I don't have a good tune on it and can't tell you if it was worth it or not. I am pretty confident I will replace the carb with a Sniper EFI when I get back to the car.
