Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti and Mini GP3 Road Trip

Join me in Wales as I spend time in the VERY rare Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti and the limited edition Mini GP3.
Ferrari revealed a special-edition 488 which will be offered exclusively to its motorsport customers. Tagged the Piloti Ferrari, it's a product of the marque’s Tailor Made programme and honours Ferrari’s triumphs in the 2017 WEC.
Ferrari said the Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti ‘was designed to recognise the success of clients who race Ferraris’. As a result, the Piloti receives a motorsport- and Italian-inspired makeover to differentiate it from the regular 488 Pista, which itself donates the running gear.

Nice but totally impractical for the average Joe. It fails the Tesco test. Not talking about boot space etc. Could I take that Ferrari to Tescos leave it in the car park for a few hours and come back to find it there or undamaged? No. Even if I won the lottery not on my list. Plus these days roads round here are either pothole or sleeping policeman. It's too fragile, I'd be constantly forking out for new unbuckled alloys etc. I like to see them being used but they aren't for me.

The other issue is the average Joe needs to be a Ferrari racing driver and have around 1/2 a million lol. I know what you mean though ; there are some very jealous people out there that will want to damage a nice car. Was a great experience and sharing the experience is also nice as there are very very few videos on this car on the road

Less be fair if you could own it, it's not a shopping car but it's a finance nightmare for running it🤣🤣🤣
