Hi man I have some apprentices from seeds from about a year and they are very small. They go extremely slow. Do I have to fertilise them? I wish I can send you some photos.
@@florinvoicufv I'm on Instagram so you can send pics there: wiseexotic Various Nepenthes grow slow and take years to develop , some 5 to 15 . I don't fertilize often but you can feed traps or use liquid sprays
I’ve only been growing Nepenthes for a couple of years and I’m still very much learning. Your video is super helpful in reinforcing ideas about care and facts about Nepenthes I already have rattling around in my head but don’t have it all on automatic recall! lol Thanks a ton, Trevor!
My natural location temperature 🌡️ drops go to 70-30 daily , I have a small heater that keeps it 57+ at night . I live in a coastal valley near the 🌊 ocean
Yep hybrids have a lot of advantages and can also be beneficial from disease resistance, environmental hardyness, as well as variety in seedgrown siblings , to even having the best traits and more of both parents combined. Although some hybrids still have the temperature drop issue depending on the combination, the hybrids are always more resilient that the single species parents normally

You’re a Nepenthes whisperer!!! :)
I totally use the Pearl River Exotics pots as well. Nice that they use 2 with their potted Neps. Instant freebie pot. 😂
@@pinecone.jeff.carnivores I actually bought the same brand in bulk , I like how they drain and don't let media fall out 👍
How are you getting your temps down and consistent to 55-50F range in the tank for the attenboroughii and your diabolica?

Just stick to hybrids guys they’re much easier. There are a lot of species that you can get away with without giving them cool drops.
