    How’d you break or tear your acl so we know what not to do

      The incident it’s self was a freak one. I just stepped back during sparring and felt it pop.
      If I was to guess the reasoning behind it. The main one would be overtraining, not listening to my body and not getting enough rest. My wife and I had a baby this year, so I’ve not been getting decent amounts of sleep, but haven’t really adjusted my training to reflect that.
      This was my bodies way of forcing me to slow down I guess.
      Beyond that I’ve never put much effort into preventative strength and conditioning for joints, something I’ll be doing more of going forward.
