Yeah, just got into Hammerfall a few years ago, love em now. They were here live a few months ago, but I had to miss them because my daughter had a choir concert...next time.
Nice selections Steve. Even the 97 Underground comp looked promising. I hardly ever see any metal comps unless they are used from the seventies and eighties. Usually the low budget hair metal comps are sitting in the assorted metal bins. That Project Driver album that Scotty sent to you has some big names on it. Isn't Rob Rock from the band Impellitteri? Rob Rock has been in quite a few bands, and all are killer...Impellitteri, Axel Rudi Pell, Drive, the US Warrior. He definitely one of my favorites. There are some great metal comps out there, but they are getting harder to find. I love the NWOBHM comps.
Never seen Paradise City with that sleeve. Mark III & IV are easily my fave Deep Purple records. I have them as reissues from few years back. Your copy of Stormbringer looks to be incredible condition. Pasi
There's a similar trend happening over here, the 2nd hand record market is drying up and stores are mostly having to stock new releases and reissues. Not great for them either as the margins are much less plus people buy less as they are way more expensive. Nice 7" pickups and I like the look of that comp and Viva album.
Honestly, I think it's laziness. I go to stores that have huge used selections, but that's because they pay out a little more when buying records, and they advertise and search for collections. A lot of times these are the same stores complaining about business, but they are not searching out product and not present on the internet. I hope you and the family are good.
Storm Bringer is very good and an awesome! Song. but BURN and IN ROCK are my personal two favorite DEEP PURPLE albums even though I'm not a huge fan. But I do have some of their albums in my collection. Very good haul Steve. Take care🤘🍺

Yeah. Mystic Force are great traditional metal. Nice comp pick up. Love the 7” singles as well.
I was sure I had one of the Mystic Force albums, but I don't. Definitely need to fix that, didn't realize they had so many albums.

The Viva is a great album, worth grabbing if you run across it, and not expensive.
