Finally I knew all Lucas needed was Ste. I’m glad to finally have these scenes with Oscar and Kieron. I’m so glad Lucas was able to be honest about who he is. Proud of him.

It’s hard coming out all the stress of thinking that no one will like you or treat you different
This made me so happy. All Lucas needed to hear was that he was loved just the way he is and that his dad is there for him. The way he came out to Ste was beautifully done, he started to say „I‘m…“ then stopped and tried again because it’s still hard for him to admit it. But as soon as he said the words, you can see the relief in him, especially when he hugs Ste. I am so glad this nightmare is finally over and I hope Lucas and Dillon can both heal from all they had to go through and can be there for each other. They deserve nothing but love and happiness I hope they talk soon and Dillon will be just as understanding as he was when he talked to Misbah about Lucas.
Declan needs to be in prison along side Carter.
As a Christian who is Bisexual, I am very proud of Lucas for coming out! I am proud of his dad for accepting who he is! I am not happy about what the pastor said to Lucas! Homosexuality is not a sin and it's not stated in the Bible anywhere! Jesus says to love everyone for who they are and I am proud of Lucas for doing what he just did!

Oh my OA how could anyone let Declan in Lucas’s room like that even Cleo? I really loved that scene with Lucas and Ste that was so emotional and beautiful I’m also glad Amy was mentioned again I really wish she hadn’t died and even Ste showing him that picture of him and Leah (the old actor) was so beautiful and unique I’m glad he’s finally out of his closet. Poor Freya being mad at John Paul and Maxine like that but I know she still loves him yes he’s her Father but she needs to get far away from Declan as well he’s nothing but trouble I hope she’ll go and visit Carter and he’ll tell her everything what happened or maybe John Paul will about her Father’s Childhood and I also hope he’ll find out that Declan was the one who started this whole conversion therapy in the first place. Do we remember how Ste, at the beginning, thought he could be straight, when initially he couldn't accept his sexuality? Ste has been there. Lucas would have been safer revealing this to his father than to Carter. You can't cry over spilled milk, Lucas, he must find a new balance with himself, without hating himself. Ste, can be a valid help in this, James can be too, given his past. Lucas is lucky to have two people who can understand what's going on in his head, because they've been there before.

It’s not about other people not caring it’s the person themselves and being able to openly admit it. You can feel so trapped inside your own head, it can feel like the entire world is on top of you.
You're objectively wrong - plenty of people still care but even that's beside the point
Clearly you have taken nothing on board during this storyline. I don’t think unless you were gay, you could possibly begin to grasp the struggles it can cause. Absolutely it’s nowhere near the level of difficulty from say 50 years ago. Yet it is still frowned upon, mocked and generally makes you different to your peers. There is plenty of homophobia around, especially in schools. To go from X one day to Z after coming out you get to know how people feel - and yes half don’t care one bit, say a quarter ish frown upon it sitting on the fence neither supportive or against. The rest are actively against it. Unless you were gay you’d have nothing remotely close for comparison.
Till you’ve gone through the same, please don’t tell us what is or isn’t brave and no one cares, cause they do.

Nothing “woke” about it. That’s not what “woke” means. Everything considered “liberal” isn’t “woke”. They commandeered “woke” and just turned it evil. I can’t believe that conversion therapy is still a thing in 2024. I thought this was the past. What should be addressed is this kid is traumatized. He is traumatized over his mother’s murder. That needs to be addressed. Plus, this is a LGBTQ soap, they always do stuff like this and they also take things to the extreme and sometimes nonsensical route.
