So again we find out that there is a two tier justice system .
The people who are rich and powerful can see justice, the rest of the people get the same answer.
Nothing much we can do for you.

Good. It's not necessary to dabble in this drug for mental issues. It is too powerful, with many negative side effects.

@@LizaB486 There is a growing body of evidence that Ketamine, as well as other hallucinogenics, is effective at treating treatment resistant depression. America's failed War On Drugs has handicapped the medical community for long enough. Only recently have we been able to start researching substances that have been used in traditional aboriginal healing for thousands of years. Ayahuasca, a South American psychedelic, shows incredible promise for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder, Substance Use Disorder, and a variety of mental health issues. LSD, Mushrooms, even Marijuana are just some of the beneficial substances that were kept just out of reach of science thanks to our archaic policies.

I doubt these people would be charged if this happened to common folk. Having said that: stop giving away any sort of drugs (legal or not) to any addicted person! Famous or not!
We understand that some of them may want to help. But many just want to make money.
Btw, even legal drugs can become illegal depending on the quantity you provide. And these people know it.
Even though I like Matthew very much, he's partially to blame. On the other hand, people who provide these drugs are partially to blame too. You point the addict to rehab and therapy, not to more drugs.

At the end of the day it's simply tragic; I have so many concerns as I fall to the floor, sobbing inconsolably. I love dropping quotidian phrases, vacuous slogans and smarmy sentiments, in a desperate attempt to appear full of empathy and compassion. This is my lived experience as I bend the arc of the moral universe to utopian social justice.

Apparently obfuscating personal responsibility over drug addiction is the one topic the far left and conservatives can agree on. My fellow conservatives over on Fox News never seem to have a problem accepting infantilization by the government when it comes to passing the buck for personal responsibility when it's their own children strung out on drugs. The lethal consequences of drug abuse have been known for well over a hundred years 100 years. I'm sorry this person is dead but if you truly want to conquer drug addiction then it begins with taking personal responsibility for your own decisions...both good and bad.
Actually this type of news coverage only greatly impunes a person's ability to recover. When they go into 12 step programs one of the first things they're going to be confronted with is stop passing the buck and to finally take personal responsibility for what they've done to themselves and to their family. Anything less than this will only result in catastrophic relapse. But of course the cash cow rehab racket will never tell you that. Every relapse is big money in the bank for them!
