I have the V1 and got one when they where first released in the uk it amazes me that the V2 isn’t more expensive I use to take the batteries out of my V1 and lost the screw
The other thing, as temperatures change, so does velocity. So it’s handy to have while hunting or competing (if allowed) to make fine adjustments to stay in your target velocity.
I should be receiving mine from High Pressure Pneumatics today! I'll end up doing a short video on the channel. The V1 was amazing, can't wait to try the upgrade!
I’m trying to get the v2 chronograph to work 1 time 2 or 3 shots in row would be ideal. Been through 6 videos and still haven’t gotten any results. What am I doing wrong???
Sadly I bought the FX Chronograph V1, got it connected to my phone everything looked good but i never managed to get it to register a single shot, so sadly it sits in my draw not getting any use. Hmm do I want to risk my money on the V2 🤔
Airguns don't perform above 1100 as that goes into the transonic range and completely messes with accuracy. As for higher, that's where the True Ballistic Chronograph takes care of things
How dou you loosen the 2nd “last” regular the power adjustment probe is partially covered by the lower part of the frame of the rifle not sure if I will be able to insert the Allen wrench in the probe? I haven’t tried yet still using the factory settings while breaking in the gun. But when I get a chronograph speedometer I will try to get top performance out of my new Fx Maverick. Will you do a master class on how to realign the power plentomw the 2nd regulator so I will have full access to to the adjustmental w/allen wrench please! Dennis
I know you guys are smart enough to have brought up the idea a thousand times if it popped into my head but why don’t you combined the 2 units into 1 unit? Makes sense to me on almost every angle. Much respect love my Impact favourite rifle ✌🏼
Dudeeeeeeeeeeee, the best part is no that it's compact and has a rechargeable battery. It is possible to mount directly on the PCP in the Weaver . high five✋
Got one, but returned it. Does not work with .117 at higher velocities. Dealer checked it, but they said it was OK. I assume it is not stable indoors with .117. Oh yes, tried all possible mounting positions. FX said 5cm back from the muzle.
Bought one last February. Worked like a charm until it didn’t……. Inexplicably just stopped connecting to the app on my iPhone 15 pro. Tried downloading the app to my iPad Air, still no good. Deleted/reinstalled the app still no connection. Rebooted everything, same result. Bluetooth definitely enabled on the Apple devices. So, very regrettably, it’s gone back to the dealer. Really disappointing as it was soooo good when it was working. A few grumbles on the forums saying much the same and no suggestions as to a fix. Guess there’s a firmware update coming?
Hi, I just bought a pocket chronograph v2 and it does not work as expected. I don’t know if my issues are software or hardware related, but I just cannot change the velocity range in the App. As far as I know this was possible with the old chronograph. With the V2 the only velocity range it shows is 288-1273 FPS, but in Germany with the maximum output of 7.5 Joule for Airrifles this is no use to me. All in all the V2 does not recognise the shots with my regulated FX Dreamline .30, as the pellets fly with less than 288FPS. If this is the intended way the chronograph should work, it would have been helpful to include this piece of information in the product descriptions. I’m a little bit disappointed that the product can not be used for German regulated air rifles or paintball markers, whereas the old chronograph would have worked. It feels like a step back. Best wishes EDIT: Found out that the velocity range is mentioned on the packaging 300-1250 FPS (91-381 m/s) but not on your website. Your website mentions velocity range up to 1250 fps.
@@dennisbraun7204Hi, I contacted fx airguns via email and have already received a response. At some point there will be a way to fix this via a firmware update. I sent mine back because I can't wait until the problem is solved.
My complaint about the first one is that it is super finicky. Has to be setup just right or it won't work. I actually hate it. And F a rechargeable battery. Once it quits charging you're screwed.
Androids absoutely are better than iphones. Its cute that the iphone 15 finally has a USB-C charger. Android has had it since 2015 but hey better late than never I guess. =)
You think you're late to the party, I just got the archery version 1. I figured I wouldn't wait to see if the minimum FPS would be lowered below 300 or 288 FPS, currently my FPS is 265-292.
Nice video. Thank you for new chronograph v2.

Great video! Where can the displays be purchased from for these?
Most FX retailers should have them in stock or can order them for you .
A pocket crono v2 with display bundle would be awesome at like 350 I’d pick that up so fast even tho I own the original I’d still pounce on that
It's works with paintball or rubber balls guns ???
I would like to know how accurate the measurement is, i.e. deviation in %
could this be used for archery by mounting it sideways on a bowsight?
The minimum velocity needed for the chronograph to pick up the arrow is 300fps
@@FXAirguns wich makes it kinda useless for most things archery. Any plans to lower it?

Just checked the specs at UAG, says max speed is 1250fps. With guns approaching 1100fps already, any plans to increase velocity range?

@@FXAirgunsdo you have after sales support mine was defective, connection issue is worst.
Original pocket chronograph changed my life.
Question is how many shots a full charge will manage?

prob size and price. 🙂
Can it be used on firearm’s also? I’m shooting Thompson Contender pistols for metal silhouette.
Garmin has one.
Really, FX? You still have a video up featuring THIS guy? 😂
Hello, if i choose the wrong pellet/slug weicht in thr app. 15g instead of 0.5 is the Messuring result different?
Thanks in advance

What is the muzzle brake? I have seen it on other SA channels but cannot find it. Please help.
Will these small ones work with archery?
yes

What sort of velocity will it pick up?
up to 1250fps
Does it work on powder burners?
No 1250 fps

Thanks for the warning, I almost bought a V2 for the same use case. @FXAirguns is it true that V2 has a higher minimum velocity compared to v1?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but when I shoot pellets, the chronograph gives me a report only a few minutes later.
So all it has to it’s claim to fame is smaller and rechargeable?? I’ll keep my version 1 chrono thanks.
Yes, no need to ditch the v1, this is more of an upgrade for those who don't have one yet.
Jokes on you, new iphones have USB-C now.
Still very happy with the original version and for 200$ I’m getting everything I can out of it until it dies.😂🤷♂️
Yea but it's also 3 times the size. I'll go with v2. Yeah it's like $50 more but for built in battery and 3 times smaller, it's a no brainer.
My complaint about the first one is that it is super finicky. Has to be setup just right or it won't work. I actually hate it. And F a rechargeable battery. Once it quits charging you're screwed.
I started crying when you showed my chronograph to represent the "big unpractical old chrony's" 😢
_Send me one of those to redeem yourself 😂_
Idk for 250 it's kind of expensive
Be careful when going out on the street with the FX pocket Chrono. Someone starts shouting and saying that there is a "flashlight" in your pocket
Another crappy thing is the fps is very limited.
Now if only the gunpowder guys could get a similarly sized chronograph to measure stuff up to 5000 fps, instead of that giant clunky LabRadar.
Garmin has one.
Where is this bastard hidden?
got the old version , turned out to be a total pain in the **** . So they lied about that piece of shit . won't fool me again.
