I really like the Eval Bar, it shows us how good these players are as the bar stays in the middle for a couple of moves and then it shifts in favor of one or another and reminds us that they are still humans who makes mistakes

It's funny how in most openings you actually don't do too well according to the eval bar, but you almost always turn it around mid game to a winning position
That's deliberate. All the solid openings have a lot of known theory. If he plays something that isn't objectively "that good" then the two players are thinking on their own, and Hikaru is confident in outplaying people who are thinking on their own and not just remembering theory. Hence he is generally equal or slightly worse in the beginning before using the middle game to turn things around.

I just realized that this is an unprecedented content that you are able to listen a professional chess player’s thoughts and see the progress bar at the same time.
In any other content either the player also sees the progress bar (when they are reviewing) or they don’t express any thoughts (when they are playing).
Thanks for doing this, and I hope you will have this in every video
Btw it is completely possible to do this real time with the streaming, when the progress bar will be visible only in the stream but not on your screen still probably it will cause some problems related to cheating but it is possible

@@nissankashkai4150 KC3 to B5 I guess, then black takes with the Knight, white goes KD4 to B5 where the white queen is protecting, and the rook on C1 is protecting the C6 pawn, that's what I saw but I suck at chess 😂

I'm a begginer at playing chess, and I find it difficult to keep up with your lighting speed GRAND MASTER LEVEL explanation of your chess play.
And I'm sure 95% of your viewers are not GM's ,maybe the begginer and intermediate chess player explanation is better than the supersonic speeds that you move at when playing chess.

Magnus is just fast with his ballanced "my style". He keeps his style, he is faster, than others, even in a complicated situation. Yes, thats a sign of a real strength and health, but, thats not all. There are other qualities. But he is genius.
