@stratovarius1976 Hi, I like the way you describe your flights :) Keep up the good work, it's interesting and can bring experience to other pilots. Could you tell me about the differences between "Avid" and "bonanza 3"? I'm trying to choose one of them and realized that "bonanza 3" is a "high-B" behavior. Does Avid lose much to bonanza 3 in terms of climbing?
Hi pasha, i've bought bonanza 3 and avid from gin gliders. So i know both. Bonanza 3 is ultra stable wing (it's two liner) but it is always a C-category glider and requires more control after a closure. In windy days it is very good to contrast wind. Otherwise, Avid has a great performance for B+ category. Simply takeoff and great performance in thermics. It's depend your objective and your actual glider. If you have already a B+ wing, I think you can try Bonanza 3. But if you can, i suggest to try AVID (or explorer II - lightweight version of AVID)
