Washington DC Field Trip Day 1: White House, U.S. Capitol Buidling, and Botanic Gardens

We flew into the Ronald Reagan Airport, then took the (subway) Metro Rail to our Capitol Hill Airbnb. Our first day of our homeschool field trip started with a tour of The White House, then walking through the White House museum and visitor center / gift shop. Then it's lunch with the congress men and women at the House of Representatives Longworth building. Next is the free tour of the United States Capitol Building, followed by food from Kor-Mex place called 'Let's Mix! BiBiJa!' and a milkshake from Good Stuff Eatery. Final stop at US Botanic Garden. Amazing first day!
