I grabbed my notebook 10 seconds into the video. I can't get enough of these pull-up videos. If I ever perfect my pull-ups, it'll all be thanks to my efforts and you.
I recover from a knee surgery a months ago and I can’t do any workouts at the moment. But your videos keep me motivated and I really appreciate your tips
@@MichaelEckert It’s hard to keep the mindset right when you can’t do anything for four months. Your videos and workouts really help a lot and I am looking forward to try them out when my recovery has come to an end. Keep doing your videos, they are great.
Hey man l can't thank you enough for the pullup content. I stumbled upon your channel about 6-7 months ago. I would struggle on the last rep to complete 5 reps of pullups. And couldn't even move upwards out of the bottom hang to do 1 rep of very wide behind the neck pullup. Thanks to you sharing your knowledge of Pre-fatiguers now l can easily do 8-9 behind the neck pullups and 7-9 regular pullups 😤😤😤 Much love to you and success to your channel 🙏🙏🙏
The other day I was hammering a concrete nail into a ceiling and my arm was on fire, whereas my workmate did over 50 of them in a day; it was humiliating. I think this is why I can't get past 2 pullups after trying to improve for a couple of months. I think I need to focus on cardio a bit more
great video michael, i am currently trying to increase my pull ups from 31 to 40, im doing a lot of daily volume + isometric hold chin above bar, my recovery between sets and overall endurance has been improving tremendously but i feel like my max number in one set has reached a plateua. i like your idea of biceps with dumbell workout because its always my biceps that gives out, but am not sure how to fit like whether i should do 20 rounds of your workout and call it a day or lets say i do 10 and then follow with my other routines and compliment your workout with lots of pull ups
Do you attribute the number you have achieved, so far, to adding weight to you routine? I am at 9 pull-ups (up from 1 in August last year-- I am slow and keep injuring my front delts lifting weights and doing push ups).
I have trouble getting my chin up over the bar. From out of the bottom to just short of the bar is not the problem. I get stuck with my chin just under the bar. How do i train the lower back muscles to get those last few inches?
Try to keep your hands stationary as possible. Elbow or forearm pain typically comes from moving your hands a certain way when you start to get fatigued during pulls

I keep injuring the front tendons or muscles on my shoulders. It keeps costing me workout time just to let them heal, and let the pain die off.
