I stumbled on this deck last month reaching legend for the first time goofing around with the evolve card. I just kind of kept winning. Very fun and wild games with very few playing out similar
Day one I build a similar deck I called flood shaman. Mine is waaaay worse that this one but I had fun with it. Thanks for the ideas on how to improve it a lot.
Awww man, now everybody will play this. 😄 (It's the only one I've been able to climb with pretty consistently. DK is a problem but I think it should be possible to tech things so that it becomes reasonable while making some of the great matchups worse.)
Along with the dragon/combo druid decks are indicative of where hearthstone is going. No specific categories like aggro... just be all things all the time. This deck is aggro/midrange/control/combo all in one and is incredibly difficult to beat with a deck that is only one category.
That's the thing about feature creep. There used to be 2 mana 1/1 to draw a card. Now there are tons of 2 mana 2/3s that draw or generate cards. It doesn't seem OP because 2 mana 2/3s already existed. But giving them that feature for no stat cost means eventually combo decks start being tempo decks too.
@@hondimon69 It really depends on design philosophy. Feature creep leads to decks that have less weaknesses, which means counterplay is harder to achieve. But at least everyone always has cards to play and always has a chance to win. The alternative is old hearthstone, where you might queue into an 80/20 matchup or might just run out of cards and have nothing to do. But the upside with that kind of gameplay is that deckbuilding becomes more engaging; it's not "what's the most OP" but it's "how do I target that deck's weaknesses". Clearly, the hearthstone developers' design philosophy favors decks that never run out of plays. But you asked what I think, and since my favorite part of card games is deck building, I'd rather see decks with clear weaknesses.
@@rivetace this is reallly great breakdown of game philosphy, I also in the same boat as you, I think why hs chose that is because the class system so they focus on class diff rather than pure archetype
I didn't realize losing a match was considered being "farmed". The amount of terms that streamers use and don't understand is very broad. Being farmed is killed over and over for benefit, losing to one guy with a decent start is not being farmed.
@@oscarp2074 but they still have lower winrate, you would lose more games playing rogue and not mage. The games are literally harder. Are they masochistic?
@@adomasvaupsas122 been testing it, been watching pro streamers too, Some shaman things are straight up broken now, It's currently the best in the game, after nerfs/buffs we will see.
I did not have the same games you are having at Diamond 5. Every Druid had swipe after swipe so I couldn’t do shit and flood pally kept getting prismatic beam so I got fucked every game 🥲
I had a lot of fun with this deck making those warrior Zilliaxes disappear.

Hey I hit rank 1 with this list but I took out the Wave of Nostalgias for Mixologists. Fantastic deck!
Now this is what I'm talking about! This is the Hearthstone I remember!
This is one of the few fun decks that we can play in this expansion, deals with Zilliax and isn't oppressive.

what is this deck tracker you use that helps with mulligan? if its hsreplay can you tell me how to enable it?
you must pay for this

How does this deck compete against Aggro / flood Pally?
I didn't realize losing a match was considered being "farmed". The amount of terms that streamers use and don't understand is very broad. Being farmed is killed over and over for benefit, losing to one guy with a decent start is not being farmed.
He was being farmed by losing minions/board over and over.
Yup. That’s how I got to legend fast.
Had evolve shaman beat, then they RNG'd into a charge minion for lethal...
what would you replace Golganneth with? everything else for this deck I have @zeddy
What overlay is that?
Overheal priest is the best although it has high skill cap.
I stopped playing for about 2 years. Now I am so far behind on making decent decks. 😢😢😢
If you didnt play for 2 years you can get a comback bundle for free it gave me like 88 packs of cards.. and some other cards for free.
@@taekesanmiguel9546 yeah I got it about 2 months ago when I started playing again. Still way behind tho. But thanks for the look out.
I just got this sent to me nd it’s five days old?
evolved!
A deck I can build
I tried it at 5 rank. Kinda disaster to play with iy
Can't buy a win with this in legend currently. Probably skill issue.
For me warrior seems to be the Most problematic. Playing vs 1 mio zilliax is so stupid
If you can evolve the zilliax before it gets killed, you’ll take a big chunk out of their win condition.
@@michaeltrimble7680bronze players don't get it😅
I live this deck but now is in meta sobie didnt play it :) always off meta
❤❤❤❤
It’s a shit-deck but sure is fun and that’s why I play. Get to D5 easily…also is it just me or does Muck Pools kinda suck?
This meta is so stupid... U can t play any Fun deck... Almost quiting 😢
Just now i played with warrior against druid, i lost in one trun i was 35 hp plus my board was with ziliax, imagine that
Why peoples even playing elemental rogue? It is the worst elemental deck from 3 like very bad. Just play mage that a lot cheaper and stronger...
Because they have shadowstep, breakdance and bounce around etc to play a ton of lamplighters and murder you

all the elemental decks suck… druid, shaman and warrior are way better
